On the hunt for some Disney decor touches? My home office is filled with them!

This is LONGGGGGG overdue but, my home office is finally done!  Well, done-ish.  Yes, we moved into our San Diego house almost a year ago.  And if I’m being honest? My home office became sort of a dump room.  It was messy, and we also used it as a guest room (but rarely).  Since I had the house to myself during the day, I usually just worked in our family room and it wasn’t a big deal.  Fast forward to……all of us at home.  ALL THE TIME.  After one too many days of trying to work in the midst of everything…..I got fed up.  And decided it was time to ACTUALLY get the home office in order (complete with some of my favorite subtle Disney decor).

It took about a week to wade through and sort everything.  And then, awhile to get it set up.  But now? I’ve got a work space I love, and it has a day bed so we can still use it as a guest room when needed.

One of my favorite parts of the room? I have a ton of special Disney decor pieces that I never really displayed.  Now, most of them are out.  I’m still getting a couple prints framed, but…..it’s coming along nicely.  And the best part? I love shutting the door to get some work done in peace and quiet.  The Disney decor inspires me, and I love that when we can go on new adventures in the future, I can add more special pieces to my collection.

Looking for the perfect standing mirror? I love this one!

This standing mirror and corner were one of the biggest changes to the room.  This was a standing clothing rack before, but it was just becoming a black hole of clothes.  I wanted to have an area where I can share my favorite bathing suits for a pear shaped body or shorts.  And the faux fiddle leaf tree? A steal that adds just the right touch to my instagram stories (plus bonus since I can’t kill it).  The blush colored rug? I bought it when we moved in, but it was hiding under furniture and now I love how it really adds to the room.

Now on to the Disney decor and touches.  I spent…..longer than I care to admit organizing this bookshelf.  Yes, things are sorted into color families (is that totally type a and teacher-ish?)……but it makes me so happy.  And so many of these pieces have special Disney memories.  These eggs from the week we did Walt Disney World‘s easter egg hunt for spring break and then flew back and did Disneyland’s after the best Downtown Disney easter brunch.  These ears were a gift after speaking at the Flock Conference at the Disneyland Hotel.  And my little Cricut Joy? I’ve used it to make more Disney projects than I can count (including my latest Disney To Do Board).

These Disney books are must owns!

These ears were a gift when the Disney Parks Designer Collection launched them and I’m STILL obsessed with them.  And the Eat Like Walt Book? Was a gift on our first Disney Cruise.  The Travels with Walt Disney book? A gift during our recent trip to Disney World in February and our second Cruise.

Galaxy's Edge Opening Day Key

This shelf specifically? Disney decor at it’s finest.  The key I received when we attended a preview before Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge opened, a pin from a very special night with dear friends at Club 33, and the Olaf ornament Lydia picked out on Castaway Cay during our recent girls trip.

CandlesThese little touches aren’t Disney decor, but I love the metallic elements they add to the room.

I love this dark wood frame!

And this? Pregnancy photos (note the violin onesie)…..and a recent picture from a Disneyland trip, this frame is from Artifact Uprising and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they matted the picture.

This customized book stack is the perfect home decor piece!

This mosaic piece was a gift from my cousin and has followed me from house to house in LA, now here.  It’s one of the items I always hand carry when we move, and something I truly cherish.  And the custom book stack? A recent purchase.  I love how it adds that unique touch!

pink home office

This is my little work space (excuse the work in progress in my paper shelf)…..and I love I can look out the window while I type.  It’s become our routine lately for Robbie to take Lydia out to the street to bike while I work, so I usually open the window and can hear her happily playing as I work away.  This chair is actually a dining room chair, but I love how it looks in here!

I love this photo block!

Sitting on my desk? Lydia helped me pick out some of our favorite Disney pictures (this one with our Descendants costume from Oogie Boogie Bash is her absolute top pick), and I got them printed for display on an Artifact Uprising photo block.

On the hunt for pink office accessories? I love these!

Always sitting on my desk? My camera.  I upgraded to this one about a year and a half ago and I’m so glad I did.  These desktop organizing pieces are the perfect pink touch, and tie the whole room together.

So, what do you think? Did you love the little Disney Decor elements?
