Schedule

legoland brick or treat

This year brick or treat starts around 2:00 pm and runs into the evening, so plan your day accordingly. Arrive a bit early to get the most out of your visit and to do some rides or trade minifigures first. LEGOLAND California often has extended hours during Brick or Treat, so take advantage of that extra time to explore.

During our visit, legoland brick or treat full hours ended at 9 pm. Some of our favorite characters (like the lego witch ) appeared right at 2 pm. Some activities started a bit later.

What to Bring

  • Tickets: Make sure you have your tickets either printed out or available on your mobile device.
  • Comfortable Clothing: Wear comfortable shoes for walking, as you'll be exploring a lot.
  • Costumes: If you and your family plan to dress up, don't forget your costumes.
  • Camera: Capture the magical moments.
  • Reusable Water Bottles: Staying hydrated is important, and LEGOLAND California has water fountains where you can refill.

Activities and Attractions at Brick or Treat

Brick or Treat offers a variety of exciting activities and attractions for your family to enjoy:

Trick-or-Treating

Kids will love collecting candies and treats from various candy stations throughout the park. It's a safe and fun way to enjoy Halloween goodies (be sure to bring a treat bag or take one from the event entry….you'll grab loads of sweets as you walk through the treat trails).

There are a LOT of regular treat trails, but new this year? The wacky witch trail is near the legoland water park entrance and takes you on a special journey through the adventure club with live witches and tons of candy (what a win).

LEGO Build Stations at Brick or Treat

Get creative and build your own Halloween-themed LEGO creations. You might even discover some special, exclusive Brick or Treat LEGO sets. This year there is a really fun brick build area in Castle Hill called Spider Lady's Spiderling Build. You can build a spider and add it to the giant web (it's close to the disco dragon coaster which is also a ton of fun).

Costume Contests

Show off your costumes and participate in the costume contests. Prizes are often awarded for the best lego costume and the best monster costume (there are multiple contests throughout the night, check your map for timing).

Entertainment

legoland meet and greet

Enjoy live shows, parades, and character meet and greets throughout the park. Check the event schedule for specific showtimes for live entertainment options. A few of our favorites: the zombie cheer crew show, the Skeleton Brass Band and Jam Out with the Rockers (meet and greet).

The new great monster chase 4d movie is also a ton of fun, and a nice chance to sit down and relax for a few minutes.

The monster security checkpoint street performers were also a huge hit, don't miss this cute activation at the entrance to Miniland!

Haunted Hideaways

Explore some spooky LEGO-themed areas and keep an eye out for LEGO monsters and ghouls lurking around. There are some new meet and greets this year including the Spider Lady in Castle Hill and the Green witch meet and greet in Fun Town.

Dining

LEGOLAND California offers a variety of dining options, from quick bites to sit-down restaurants. Don't forget to try some of the special Halloween-themed treats available during Brick or Treat. There are special Halloween apple fries and some great treat options all around the park (and a few at the legoland hotel as well).

🚨 3 MISTAKES I MADE AT MY FIRST RUN DISNEY RACE 🚨 3 MISTAKES I MADE AT MY FIRST RUN DISNEY RACE 🚨⠀⠀🛑 Learn from my mistakes, 3 things you should NOT do if you’re running Disney races this year (trust me):⠀⠀1️⃣ Passing Go and Heading STRAIGHT to the parks: I realllllyyyyy wanted medal pictures. In my running outfit. So, instead of taking the buses straight from the finish line back to the hotel……we went to the Magic Kingdom. Took photos. Went to lunch. And felt…..terrible by about 1 pm. So take it from me, finish the race. Go to the hotel. Shower. Take a nap. THEN go to the parks. ⠀2️⃣ Breakfast: ok, mistake number 2. WHAT WE ATE. We booked a very cute, very on theme lunch. It was also very rich and creamy food. And…..was NOT IT after a race. Some of us may have gotten sick. It might have been the food. Or the lack of sleep. But, breakfast food (waffles / eggs) would have been a MUCH better choice. Now bonus points if you can guess where we ate. Love it, but….not for the first meal after the race.⠀3️⃣ Park Tickets: I spent WAY too much. I didn’t buy my park tickets in advance and paid full price. On a race weekend, you’ll probably want tickets for race day and the day after if not two days after. So….buy them NOW. While you can get a deal. ⠀⠀🎟️ Which leads to……when I say buy those park tickets now, I mean it. Big News! Undercover Tourist is offering their best ticket deal at BOTH Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort…for a VERY limited time, get Adult Theme Park Tickets at Child Prices. So whichever race you are running (or races in my case)……snag tickets NOW. I’m grabbing mine for Wine and Dine and Princess weekend……..⠀🎟️ want a link to the deal? Comment TICKETS PLEASE and I’ll send it your way! ⠀👟 Are you running a Disney Race this year? Which one? ⠀⠀🥇 And if you’re an experienced Run Disney person….what tips do YOU have for first timers?⠀⠀@themeparkfrog @disneyland #FrogHopDLR #rundisney

Two good witches and one black cat…….kick off Two good witches and one black cat…….kick off another year of family halloween costumes. The thing is, I tried to talk Lydia out of these costumes. It was a cooler day on Saturday and I kept telling her we could just wear jeans and the hats. Until, I realized…….we may not have that many Halloween seasons left of cute family costumes. So pink witches we were…..for the kickoff of Legoland’s Brick or Treat. We love Brick or Treat (this is our 3rd year doing it). It’s got some new activities this year, and I L-O-V-E that it’s included in your regular @legolandcalifornia ticket (bonus it ALSO will be included in Kids Free October here in SD).Our favs this year:- the wacky witch trail near the water park entrance- the zombie cheerleaders- halloween themed apple fries- the monster security checkpoint- Jam Out with the Rockers (this meet and greet is HYSTERICAL, scroll for the footage)Brick or Treat takes place on Saturdays in September and then Saturdays and SOME Sundays in October (dates are on the Legoland website).Welp, this makes it official. Summer has come to an end. Bring on the Halloween fun!#sponsored #LEGOLANDcalifornia
