Let’s talk affordable activewear. As much as I love a great investment piece, I also wanted to share some cheap workout clothes options. These options are all great prices and high quality workout gear choices!
Let’s talk cheap workout clothes. From sports bras to leggings……workout wear prices can add up quickly. Since I’ve been running regularly (and let’s be honest now that I work from home), I’ve gotten the chance to test out a ton of workout clothing options and I wanted to share a few of my more price friendly favorites. Yes, I love my Zella Leggings and I do think that they’re worth the price (they have great sports bras too). But the truth is, they’re expensive. Same with Outdoor Voices and Sweaty Betty. As much as I love those brands, I wanted to share some alternatives that I’ve been loving as well. Whether you’re looking for gear to use as you start running or you’re a highly experienced yogi or even for Orange Theory (where trust me you’ll put the gear to the test)…..there is an affordable activewear option for every sport and activity.
The Best Affordable Activewear Options
Each of these brands has a great size range, and they offer some affordable activewear options that I personally own. Now the one exception? I don’t wear cheap running shoes. I have flat feet, and am prone to ankle injuries. So I usually invest a fair amount in the shoes I wear while I work out.

Old Navy has been a mainstay in my activewear wardrobe for years. Their compression sports bras are great, and I love that their compression leggings provide support without being TOO confining (don’t you hate that?). They’ve always got a variety of prints, and often have sales. Old Navy activewear is good for finding basics for running or soccer (and bonus they usually have great kids activewear options if you want to coordinate with your kiddos).
DSG is a recent discovery, and I love love love the line from Dick’s Sporting Goods. The collection has a great size range, and their leggings? Are super high quality. The sports bras have great support. They’re super affordable and I love the current colors and prints that are available. DSG is a perfect option for higher impact activities like running or kickboxing classes.
We all know I love Aerie. They celebrate beauty in every shape and size, and I love their workout sets. The Play Real Me 7/8 Leggings are a mainstay in my wardrobe, and I love their sports bras for hikes or walks. Aerie is a great choice if you are looking for affordable activewear for lower impact activities like yoga.
We all love a good Amazon find. And Amazon’s brand Core 10? Has GREAT workout wear options for amazing prices (bonus who doesn’t love that Amazon prime shipping). Their leggings are great quality, and I love their sport bras. If you’re on the go or looking for affordable activewear in a pinch, it’s your best bet (I’ve even gotten Core 10 pieces delivered on vacation).
