 I have to admit, this was another one of those 90s trends that I avoided until recently.  Penny loafers (yes, I wore them back in the day too, those heeled loafers we all LOVED).  I thought I’d skip the classic loafer trend this time around, but…..after seeing them again and again….I gave in and bought these chunky loafers.  And you know what? They’re in REGULAR rotation for me.  They’re super comfortable, and can easily be styled to create a smart casual look for running errands or more of a classic look for brunch with the girls or a day at the office.

I love that these shoes are a great way to change your whole look.  Yes, I love my comfortable shoes and sneakers (shout out to my Rothy’s)….but it’s amazing how switching out a pair of shoes can totally change a whole outfit look.  Wearing a slightly less casual pair of shoes makes an outfit seem more elevated and can shift a whole look.  I’ve found myself reaching for these shoes again and again, so……I wanted to share some perfect loafer outfits ideas for every occasion.
