On the hunt for The Best Bathing Suits for a Pear Shaped Body Under $50? These flattering swim suits are a total steal!

Yup, it’s that time already.  Bathing Suit season.  Spring Break is on the horizon, and summer family vacations are being planned.  From pool days to beach trips, it’s coming.  Now you guys know I’m a huge believer in not letting your fear of a bathing suit dictate your life (I mean, I put myself in a swim suit on the internet…..and if I’m being honest? It’s best thing I’ve done for myself in years).  Clearly, I’m not the only one.  Last summer over 700 of you joined me and helped me launch JUST WEAR THE SUIT.  We came together, encouraged each other, and realized…..wearing a bathing suit is really not THAT scary.

One of my biggest tips for feeling comfortable in a bathing suit? Is finding a suit that flatters your body type.  Now finding a bathing suit for a pear shaped body that flatters AND won’t deplete your savings? That’s tough.  Last year, I shared my favorite bargain bathing suits….and it was one of the things you guys read the MOST.  Those suits? Aren’t available anymore, so I went back to the drawing board.  After quite a bit of research  I found some great Bathing Suits for a PEAR SHAPED BODY Under $50 that are available for 2019.

Bathing Suits for a Pear Shaped Body Under $50

If you’re looking for bathing suits that flatter a pear shaped body, keep the following in mind:

• you want to draw the eyes towards the shoulders and neck…..so details like lace, an fun neckline, lighter colors or prints up top……will always flatter a pear shaped body
• don’t hide your curves, flatter them…..for years I tried to hide my hips and thighs in boy short bottoms, and they looked AWFUL.  The right cut will do much more for your figure than hiding it will
• accentuate that smaller waist….pear shaped body types nip in at the waist……so get a swim suit that SHOWS that off……yup, even a two piece or cutouts will work!

 

Solid Colored Bathing Suits

Looking for a not too scary bathing suit? Solid colored bathing suits always are a great option.  You don’t have to stick to a black bathing suit, bright colors can be JUST as flattering….it’s all about the cut.  On a pear shaped body? Try a suit with a fun neckline, lace or crochet up top, or my total favorite? Off the shoulder necklines.  They’re PERFECT for balancing out a pear shape and super on trend.

This year, color blocked bathing suits are HOT…..and they can be stunning on a pear shape.  Remember, the goal is to draw the eyes upward…..so any color blocked suit with lighter colors on top? Will do JUST that.

I know, you’re scared of prints.  You probably think I’m crazy, right? Draw more attention to your body with a print? YES.  DO IT.  With a great cut, you can totally rock a printed suit.  I’m loving stripes, fun graphic prints, and or great palm leaf prints this year.  Who says we have to hide behind black bathing suits?  Get a great colored print that flatters your curves and compliments your skin tone.

Two Piece Bathing Suits

Want to rock a two piece? YES YOU CAN.  Hello, you have a perfect figure for it.  Pear shaped body types are narrow in the middle, the exact place that a bikini showcases.  Remember you can mix and match patterns…..my favorite combo? A print on top and a solid color on the bottom.
