On the hunt for a kids gardening kit? These are the best ones on the market! On the hunt for a kids gardening kit? These are the best ones on the market!

What times we live in.  One of the best things about all the time we've had at home in the last few years with our younger children? So many families including ours have gotten really into gardening and planting seeds.  There are young gardeners everywhere!  Lydia has loved seeing what we can grow (she even took care of our own flowers this year), and how the plants can be added to our garden (we're even considering getting more raised beds to add to our vegetable garden we created over the summer)!  And I love that we are getting quality time together with Mother Nature.

If you're on the hunt for kids gardening kit options, these are the BEST ones on the market (and bonus most ship quickly).  From fairy gardens to indoor herb gardens to simple flower gardens….these are great way to explore growing plants with kids without spending a ton of money!  Kids gardening kids make a great gift, you can easily put them together with small garden tools, a sun hat, gardening gloves and maybe some extra seed packets for a unique present that will keep little hands busy.

These family gardening tips helped me to get started.

Kids Gardening Kit: The Best Ones

Shop All Kids Gardening Kits:

  1. Enchanted Fairy Garden: This was the first gardening kit we ordered, and still a fav (it's crazy how tall the grass has grown).  I love that it had a craft element (Lydia painted the fairy house and pieces and the planter).  It was totally worth the price and perfect for little gardeners! The miniature garden we built with it is ADORABLE.
  2. Flower Planting Kit: This flower planting kit is by the same company we've ordered other kits from, and they're SUPER high quality.  Each comes with paint and a craft element (painting the planter and making sides for the seed types) along with everything you need to plant.  Don't these colorful flowers look pretty?
  3. Unicorn Garden: I mean, if a fairy garden isn't enough, then a unicorn gardening set will be the ultimate kids gardening kit.  We just ordered this one ourselves! It's a great option for younger kids.
  4. Pizza Garden Kit: Anyone else have a picky eater on their hands? Our pizza garden is an attempt to…..encourage more veggie eating.  Once all our seeds have grown, we'll be making our own pizza sauce.  Lydia is especially excited about this one!
  5. Window Garden: These smaller pots and flower seeds are perfect for an indoor window garden (you can choose either zinnias or marigolds).
  6. Lavender Growing Kit: If you love the smell of lavender as much as I do, then this kit is perfect for you.  It would be perfect to start in the pot, then to transfer to your backyard! And who doesn't love the bright colors when lavender blooms?
  7. Watch it Grow Kit: I love this kit because of the clear planter.  How cool is it that kids can actually SEE the plants growing below the surface?!?!
  8. Sprout and Grow Window:  This is another great option for watching beneath the surface, I love this one for a smaller indoor space.
  9. Grow a Bouquet: There's something magical about planting flowers.  These Grow a Bouquet kits come in a ton of varieties and are super easy to use (we love the sunflower seeds but there are tons of great options).
  10. Kitchen Herb Gardening Kit: I love that this herb kit comes with cute cans as planters.  Kitchen herbs are a great option for little chefs and big chefs alike!
  11. My First Garden:  This kids garden kit is a great way to support a small business, I love that it supports a family gardening company and keeps small hands busy!

I’ve gotta be honest, flash cards were just not cutting it for us. ⠀⠀So I dove into her @Amazon Fire Kids Tablet and found some really great multiplication games that are included in her @Amazonkids Plus Membership. ⠀⠀Reminder, an Amazon Kids+ membership is included for the first year when you buy any Amazon kids device, then costs just $4.99 a month after that. It includes ebooks, audiobooks, games and movies (I’ve talked a TON about the books and audiobooks that are included, so I’m excited to share a math⠀option).⠀⠀Our current favorite multiplication games:⠀⠀1️⃣ Multiplication Memorizer⠀⠀2️⃣ Multiplication Kids⠀⠀3️⃣ Pinkfong Fun Times⠀⠀Now, anyone in your house? The way I laughed out loud when I spotted this lit The way I laughed out loud when I spotted this little area during our day at Knott’s Berry Farm……. (teachers, you get it right?!?)I mean, HAD TO TAKE A PHOTO (or 20). This weekend was the start of Peanuts Celebration at Knott’s Berry Farm and we spent a day immersed in all things Snoopy. From the rides in Camp Snoopy to the adorable new shows to the ACTUAL PIGS in Pigpen’s Pig Pen there was so much to do…..I’m so glad that Knott’s invited us to check it all out! Now, who is YOUR favorite Peanuts character? (Lydia’s is Sally, she’s actually playing her in a school play TODAY — the timing, right?) @knottsberryfarm #knottspeanutscelebration
✨ Happy 100th Disney!✨⠀ ⠀ 💜The people a ✨ Happy 100th Disney!✨⠀⠀💜The people are the magic. Yesterday was filled with friends and food and fun and feet (sore ones after walking around from dawn to way past dusk)…….and as Lydia and I tucked ourselves into bed last night……I felt so much gratitude. Our happy place has brought so much joy into our lives and so many people that enrich each moment.⠀⠀✨The Disney 100 Celebration will be happening ALL YEAR, and I feel like we still have so much to see and do.⠀⠀💜Favorite Moments and Experiences from our day one of Disney 100:⠀🚂riding Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad: I avoided ALLLLLL spoilers (there are some in this carousel btw), and had seen NONE of the attraction until we stepped into the queue…. it was absolutely adorable and I can’t WAIT to ride it again, plus when we exited the ride…..some of the team that created it were at the exit and seeing their smiles? ABSOLUTE DISNEY MAGIC.⠀🌅seeing the sun rise over the castle bright and early⠀💕running into friends every 5 minutes, it felt like a giant reunion⠀👗characters in their costumes, not going to lie….we didn’t wait in lines for them….they were length, but we gave a wave as we walked by and they looked stunning⠀⠀✨When is your next Disney trip???
🏰Dreaming of Dancing in Front of the Castle for 🏰Dreaming of Dancing in Front of the Castle for Spring Break?🏰⠀⠀📷A few castle photo tips:⠀1️⃣side, not center……both sides of the castle have lovely little spots that provide a great view of the castle and moat, but avoid the crowd (plus you can get some nice flattering light into the mid morning or in the late afternoon)⠀2️⃣want to be closer to the front? Sit on the back of the benches built into the moat entrance, you’ll be a bit elevated, it gives a great angle and a better view of the castle herself ⠀3️⃣if you REALLY want that walking into the castle shot…..this is something you can do during early entry time if you are staying on property ⠀⠀🧳Now, let’s talk Spring Break tips in collaboration with @themeparkfrog :⠀🚨This is IT. Red alert. If you’re hoping to visit the Happiest Place on Earth for Spring Break….BOOK IT NOW. Spring Break is around the corner, and the more you plan, the happier you’ll be (trust me).⠀⠀To do (in order):⠀1️⃣book your hotel, theme park tickets and rental car: for the best deal, you can do this as a bundle with Undercover Tourist (you’ll save a TON this way….I’m sharing more in stories)⠀2️⃣once you have your trip dates….book dining. At Disneyland you can book 60 days in advance (which means, NOW and coming up very soon for Spring Break).⠀3️⃣ If you want to do something special like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you can ALSO book that 60 days in advance.⠀⠀✨So, are you ready? Blue skies, sunshine, and Disney Magic guaranteed. What are YOUR spring break plans?
