Planning a trip to Disney during the warmer months? Then these Disney Bathing Suits are some great options for pool or beach days filled with pixie dust!

Now, this is truly the intersection of two things I love.  Disney and…..bathing suits.  I'm all about encouraging women to love their bodies and to have a blast in their own skin, and a huge part of that? Is taking away the shame and stigma we feel around wearing swimsuits.  I want to encourage each and every one of you to enjoy your summers, vacations and pool days.  I want you to look back with fond memories instead of remembering how you hid in a coverup or your insecurities overshadowed magical memories.  And some of my best memories? Our Disney vacations….from our Disneyland staycations to our Walt Disney World trips to Disney Cruises to Aulani.  And on each of those trips? Bathing suits were worn.

One of the things that I had a blast doing as I worked on my OWN self image and started to really enjoy wearing a bathing suit? Finding fun Disney bathing suits and Disney inspired swimsuits for Lydia and I to wear.  I love showing her that Mommy is having a blast in a swimsuit too, and making it something fun and celebratory for us both.

Now, before we dive into fun Disneyland outfits or Disneyworld Outfits for water days…..let's talk about the magic of loving YOURSELF in a bathing suit or anything else.

Learning to love myself, my pear shaped body, and to feel comfortable in a bathing suit has been a journey and I wanted to share a few steps that have helped me:

  • FIND SUITS THAT FIT WELL: seriously this makes a huge difference.  The cut of suit and making sure it fits appropriately will absolutely change how you feel when wearing it.  I tend to love high waisted swim bottoms, or a ruffled top on a one piece swimsuit……I know this, and now I always gravitate towards those options.
  • COLOR MAKES A DIFFERENCE: We all have colors we love on ourselves.  From brights to pastels, patterns to solids…..wear what you love and wear what makes you feel your best.
  • GET COVER UPS YOU LOVE: Now, listen to me…..I'm not saying to hide in a baggy t shirt.  AT ALL.  From sarongs to a great wrap…….grab a cover up that you love to compliment a bathing suit you love (THESE are a few of my favorites).

Disney Bathing Suits

These? A few of my favorite Disney bathing suits sets that we've worn over the years.

Anna and Elsa at Castaway Cay: If we're talking Disney duos, then Anna and Elsa are a MUST include.  We're huge Frozen fans, and when I spotted this Elsa bathing suit for Lydia online…..I knew we had to bring it along on our Disney cruise.  Instead of an Anna bathing suit, I decided to wear a \ inspired by Anna's favorite colors and styles.  It was easy and it worked!

Frozen Inspired Swim Suits:

Let's rock the dots! Looking for Disney bathing suits? These are an adorable option!

Minnie Mouse at Walt Disney World: Does it get any better than polka dots inspired by our favorite girl? Minnie Mouse is always a fun idea for swimsuits.  You can look for actual Minnie suits, or go for simple polka dots and add Minnie Mouse sunglasses or accessories!  Either way, be sure you select a nice true red color to stay true to Minnie's style!

Ariel and Ursula Above the Surface with Disney Cruiselines: Would this be a complete list of Disney bathing suits ideas without bring Ariel and Ursula to the surface?  Two years later, Lydia is STILL obsessed with her Ariel bathing suit.  And my Ursula suit? Comes in a great size range and is a ton of fun to wear!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Bathing Suit at the Grand Californian: Does this look familiar? These are fairly recently taken pictures when we did an overnight at the Grand Californian (click here for discount tickets and Disneyland hotel stays)for my birthday.  I grabbed Lydia's Cinderella bathing suit on sale online and it was even cuter in person than I'd expected!  I paired it with a simple blue suit and pink accessories as her…..fairy godmother.

I’ve gotta be honest, flash cards were just not cutting it for us. ⠀⠀So I dove into her @Amazon Fire Kids Tablet and found some really great multiplication games that are included in her @Amazonkids Plus Membership. ⠀⠀Reminder, an Amazon Kids+ membership is included for the first year when you buy any Amazon kids device, then costs just $4.99 a month after that. It includes ebooks, audiobooks, games and movies (I’ve talked a TON about the books and audiobooks that are included, so I’m excited to share a math⠀option).⠀⠀Our current favorite multiplication games:⠀⠀1️⃣ Multiplication Memorizer⠀⠀2️⃣ Multiplication Kids⠀⠀3️⃣ Pinkfong Fun Times⠀⠀Now, anyone in your house? The way I laughed out loud when I spotted this lit The way I laughed out loud when I spotted this little area during our day at Knott’s Berry Farm……. (teachers, you get it right?!?)I mean, HAD TO TAKE A PHOTO (or 20). This weekend was the start of Peanuts Celebration at Knott’s Berry Farm and we spent a day immersed in all things Snoopy. From the rides in Camp Snoopy to the adorable new shows to the ACTUAL PIGS in Pigpen’s Pig Pen there was so much to do…..I’m so glad that Knott’s invited us to check it all out! Now, who is YOUR favorite Peanuts character? ✨ Happy 100th Disney!✨⠀ ⠀ 💜The people a ✨ Happy 100th Disney!✨⠀⠀💜The people are the magic. Yesterday was filled with friends and food and fun and feet (sore ones after walking around from dawn to way past dusk)…….and as Lydia and I tucked ourselves into bed last night……I felt so much gratitude. Our happy place has brought so much joy into our lives and so many people that enrich each moment.⠀⠀✨The Disney 100 Celebration will be happening ALL YEAR, and I feel like we still have so much to see and do.⠀⠀💜Favorite Moments and Experiences from our day one of Disney 100:⠀🚂riding Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad: I avoided ALLLLLL spoilers (there are some in this carousel btw), and had seen NONE of the attraction until we stepped into the queue…. it was absolutely adorable and I can’t WAIT to ride it again, plus when we exited the ride…..some of the team that created it were at the exit and seeing their smiles? ABSOLUTE DISNEY MAGIC.⠀🌅seeing the sun rise over the castle bright and early⠀💕running into friends every 5 minutes, it felt like a giant reunion⠀👗characters in their costumes, not going to lie….we didn’t wait in lines for them….they were length, but we gave a wave as we walked by and they looked stunning⠀⠀✨When is your next Disney trip???
🏰Dreaming of Dancing in Front of the Castle for 🏰Dreaming of Dancing in Front of the Castle for Spring Break?🏰⠀⠀📷A few castle photo tips:⠀1️⃣side, not center……both sides of the castle have lovely little spots that provide a great view of the castle and moat, but avoid the crowd (plus you can get some nice flattering light into the mid morning or in the late afternoon)⠀2️⃣want to be closer to the front? Sit on the back of the benches built into the moat entrance, you’ll be a bit elevated, it gives a great angle and a better view of the castle herself ⠀3️⃣if you REALLY want that walking into the castle shot…..this is something you can do during early entry time if you are staying on property ⠀⠀🧳Now, let’s talk Spring Break tips in collaboration with @themeparkfrog :⠀🚨This is IT. Red alert. If you’re hoping to visit the Happiest Place on Earth for Spring Break….BOOK IT NOW. Spring Break is around the corner, and the more you plan, the happier you’ll be (trust me).⠀⠀To do (in order):⠀1️⃣book your hotel, theme park tickets and rental car: for the best deal, you can do this as a bundle with Undercover Tourist (you’ll save a TON this way….I’m sharing more in stories)⠀2️⃣once you have your trip dates….book dining. At Disneyland you can book 60 days in advance (which means, NOW and coming up very soon for Spring Break).⠀3️⃣ If you want to do something special like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you can ALSO book that 60 days in advance.⠀⠀✨So, are you ready? Blue skies, sunshine, and Disney Magic guaranteed. What are YOUR spring break plans?
