Looking for the best food at Disneyland? These are the top ten MUST eat items that are always available at Disneyland…..they're Disneyland food must try options!

Disneyland FoodI know, I know……how can you narrow the choices down? The Best Food at Disneyland? How do you choose?  From Disneyland to California Adventure……I wanted to share my top ten food choices.  These are the tried and true, always available classic Disneyland food options.  There are always speciality items available for festivals and holidays, and I love trying those……but this list? My favorites that you can buy year round.  And definitely items you should put on your must eat list if you're visiting from out of town.  Whether you're visiting Disneyland in the Rain during the cold months or looking for Places to Beat the Heat inside Disneyland during the hot months, these food items will be ready and available!

Best Food at Disneyland: Top 10 Items

Disneyland Beignets: Looking for the best beignets outside of New Orleans?!? Disneyland Beignets are amazing.  They usually have a seasonal flavor available…..but I'm in love with traditional beignets (and they have the BEST dipping sauces).  Available at: Mint Julep Bar, Cafe Orleans, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen

Disneyland Turkey Legs: If you're a meat eater, Disneyland Turkey Legs are a MUST eat (they're also pretty inexpensive).  They're savory and a great contrast to all the sweet treats.  Available at: Poultry Palace, Hot Foods near Central Plaza, Hot Foods at Hollywood Land, Ship to Shore Marketplace, Edelweiss Snacks

disneyland dole whip

Dole Whip Disneyland: Have you even been on a REAL Disneyland trip without a Dole Whip?  This soft serve treat is made without dairy and until recently only came in one flavor….pineapple.  The original was served right outside the Enchanted Tiki Room only.  But now? There are multiple options available at Tropical Hideaway: orange and raspberry along with traditional pineapple. Available at: Tiki Juice Bar, Tropical Hideaway, Disneyland Hotel (at the Coffee House)

Disneyland Churros: From traditional churros to the speciality flavors that are on a constant rotation…..Disneyland Churros are the BEST.  They're a perfect in between meals snack, and let's be honest…..a requirement for a great Disneyland Food photo.  I'm always partial to the classic churro flavor…..but the holiday flavors are fun too! Available at: Churros at Hollywood Land, Churros at small World Promenade, Churros near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Churros near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Churros near Casey Jr. Circus Train, Churros near Goofy’s Sky School, Churros near Haunted Mansion, Churros near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, Churros near Sleeping Beauty Castle, Churros near Splash Mountain, Churros near Town Square, Señor Buzz Churros, Willie’s Churros at Buena Vista Street

Mickey Ice Cream Bar: During any of the warmer months…….a Mickey Ice Cream Bar is a total requirement at Disneyland.  You can grab one at a quick service cart in either park (yes, they're available in grocery stores now…..but it's still a million times more magical to eat them at the Happiest Place on Earth).

mickey waffles

Mickey Waffles: Mickey Waffles are the perfect way to start any Disneyland day, and they're a Disneyland Character Dining staple.  They're a part of the buffet at all character dining breakfasts, but are also available at almost all sit down breakfast locations (our personal favorite for non character dining is Carnation Cafe in Disneyland or Flo's V8 Cafe in Disney California Adventure.

mickey pretzel

Mickey Pretzel: The best non-sweet snack? A Mickey Pretzel.  Be warned, they're HUGE!  You can buy them at plenty of quick service stands in both parks but our favorite spot to grab one? Troubadour Tavern on the way into the Mickey and the Magical Map show.  Bring a pretzel into the show with you, sit, eat and enjoy the music!

Disneyland Corn Dogs: If you love corn dogs, Disneyland has GREAT ones.  They have traditional flavors, and then there is almost always a holiday or seasonal offering (absolutely worth trying).  Our favorite spots to grab a Disneyland Corn Dog: the cart on Main Street in Disneyland or Corn Dog Castle in Disney California Adventure

Lobster Nachos: The Lobster Nachos at the Cove Bar in Disney California Adventure had a total cult following and with good reason, they were DELISH!  When the Cove Bar and Ariel's Grotto closed, people on the hunt for the Best Food at Disneyland had concerns….WHAT ABOUT THE NACHOS?!?  When Lamplight Lounge opened in place of Ariel's Grotto…..guess what was on the menu? Yup, the amazing Lobster Nachos.  They're still here, and they're just as delish!

Disneyland Macaron Cookie: If you're a macaron fan, then the Disneyland Macaron Cookie is a MUST try.  During each holiday and festival, there are special macaron offerings.  But my favorite? The Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron at the Jolly Holiday Bakery on Main Street.  It's available year round and it's amazing.

So, what's YOUR opinion on the Best Food at Disneyland?  What is your absolute, must eat item when visiting the Happiest Place on Earth?

🎉HAPPY REOPENING DAY TOONTOWN!!!!!🎉⠀ ⠀ W 🎉HAPPY REOPENING DAY TOONTOWN!!!!!🎉⠀⠀We loved visiting yesterday for a preview of this reimagined area. It’s absolutely perfect for getting your wiggles out, having a picnic and yup……..getting your Disney feels fix.⠀⠀My top recommendations when visiting this new area?⠀⠀1) mobile order from Cafe Daisy…..we loved the pizza options and the cold brew⠀2) play play play in Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard, and inside his house…..⠀3) take the time to walk through Minnie and Mickey’s houses, you’ll probably see a surprise friend or two!⠀4) absolutely yes to the picnic basket from Good Boy! Grocer. It’s a STELLAR price and a really fun experience to pick out your own snacks.⠀5) Mickey’s and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a perfect full family ride. I’d suggest trying for this earlier in the day if you can.⠀6) Keep an eye out for Pete, it’s so much fun to see him wandering the area.⠀⠀#Disneyland #Toontown #Mickey #Minnie #MMRR @disneyland @disneyparks invited guest
✨There’s something in my eye…….oh it’s j ✨There’s something in my eye…….oh it’s just pixie dust.⠀⠀When I think of Lydia’s earliest visits to Disneyland….I think of Toontown. There are people cheering you on…..and you don’t even realize it.I learned a LOT during the 7 months of training for this race. I learned that I should stretch and warm up (thanks pulled muscle for that life lesson), I learned that small progress over time leads to achieving big goals. I learned that sunshine and being outside makes me a happier person. I learned that I’m more of an athlete than I thought I was. But most of all? I learned……there are a whole lot of people in your cheering section and you might not even know they’re sitting there. After I pulled this muscle, I was amazed by the sweet and kind messages while I tried to prepare to run my first 10k with an injury. But NOTHING prepared me for the ovwhelming amount of kindness and support that flooded into my inbox when I crossed the finish line. From the early morning you can do this messages to the ones that came in throughout the race to the inspiring amount of support as I iced my pulled muscle…..it brought me to tears. And the amazing thing? When Jennifer and Lashawn and I found each other at the finish line….they said the same thing. It’s not just me. We all have a cheering section. And wow, do they show up when you may not be expecting them.Got a big goal? Working on something new? Share it in the comments. I’d love to join your support team.#medalmonday #rundisney
