Staying home for the holidays? This bright Christmas Fireplace is the perfect spot for reading Christmas stories and waiting for Santa………
There’s nothing like a night by the fire over the holidays, am I right? It gets dark so early, and we all want to hurry home, snuggle up with the ones we love, sip hot chocolate and read Christmas stories. Isn’t the holiday season the BEST? Since we are staying put this year for Christmas (for the first year since Lydia was born)……I wanted to create a cute cozy space that we could enjoy leading up to Christmas.
The minute I started to do a little holiday decor shopping, I couldn’t stop thinking about our Christmas Fireplace. I wanted to come up with a fun, family friendly way to decorate our mantle and fireplace……and one that would coordinate nicely with the classic red brick color. I fell in LOVE with the idea of using buffalo plaid items…..I think they’re PERFECT for a bright and classic looking Christmas Fireplace. From the simple Gift Boxes to the Buffalo Check Deer to that ADORABLE Joy sign…….we picked up a ton of Christmas decorations that helped us to create the perfect cozy Christmas spot. Even that soft throw blanket? We grabbed for a STELLAR price!
We used all these adorable holiday decorations to set up the perfect area for Christmas Story reading, hot chocolate sipping, and even waiting for Santa.

Pretty mantel, love the plaid. Cute kiddo too 🙂 Have a Merry Christmas!
That is a beautiful fireplace. Too bad I don’t have one to make up like this.
