This is our first Christmas in our new home, and it has been so fun to decorate.Ā We’ll be hosting family from out of town for a couple of days, and the tradition I’m most excited about? Christmas breakfast.Ā Our Christmas Brunch Tablescape is ready to go!
I’m not going to lie…..decor is NOT my strong suit.Ā But this year, is our first year in our new home and I was REALLY excited to decorate for the holidays.Ā We’ll be hosting our parents (they’re coming on a rotating schedule) and for the first time….I’m in charge of one my favorite Christmas traditions…..the breakfast.Ā From our favorite eggnog pancakes to the extra cups of coffee, the menu was the easy part.Ā But I wanted to deck the table at our new house, and to really make it special.Ā I’m so excited to share our Christmas Brunch Tablescape complete with some special holiday details.
Christmas Brunch Tablescape
While we were visiting my family for Thanksgiving, my mom decorated our Thanksgiving table with eucalyptus leaves and I loved the look.Ā I picked these up from Trader Joe’s for a couple of dollar (total steal, right?!).Ā And the black and white tablerunner? Can you believe it’s from our wedding?
We got these striped table runners custom made for the big day, and I’ve used them a million times since (proof that it was worth the money).Ā I love that these simple elements can be used at any time of year.
The holiday touches? From the Sleigh All Day mugs (from Crate and Barrel) to the black and white Nordic-inspired winter plates, I loved adding a few pops of Christmas cheer.Ā I feel like they add a little extra, without being too extreme.Ā They combined perfectly with our regular white plates (the set we got as part of our wedding registry, yes they’re still going strong).Ā Add a few white pillar candles, and we’re ready for the perfect Christmas breakfast!
