Can you believe we are already talking about Valentine’s Day? I love love love the day of love. I know, it’s cheesy and manufactured. But, I teach elementary school……give me a break! I love homemade cards, pink candy, and valentine’s day parties. So, when DownEast Basics asked us to share our Valentines Day Outfit ideas for this installment of our Mama / Daughter Style series…..I was a little (understatement) excited.
Do y’all do fancy Valentine’s Day dates? Not gonna lie, I think our fancy Valentine’s Day dates have passed. First of all, paying a million dollars for a dinner? No thanks. Finding a babysitter on Valentine’s Day? Practically impossible! So, this is my version of a casual Valentine’s Day outfit.
We’re planning to spend the day together as a family…….and then to test out a few Mommy Juice recipes once Lydia goes to bed for the night…….
What are your valentine’s day plans?
No matter what your plans, DownEast Basics wants to make sure you’re prepared……so be sure to check out my Instagram at 8 am pacific time……..we’re giving away a $200 credit so that one lucky winner can buy the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit!

I'd been to the zoo for field trips a million times, but it's funny how you don't pay attention to baby / toddler details until you have one. Upon the recommendation of a local mommy friend, we asked the … // Read more...

We met him at my new favorite coffee shop, on Abbott Kinney in … // Read more...

These apps helped me keep things (sort of) under control during the first year of Lydia's life....... Baby Connect - This is the best app for record keeping. Seriously. I used it to track everything: nursing (it has a timer, and even marks which … // Read more...
