This is your PSA yes, you’ll cry. But it’s so good.The Notebook Musical is here in San Diego and to be honest, I wasn’t 100% sure what we’d think of it. OMG, might be one of my top 3 shows. It’s stellar. The cast was phenomenal, and I yes, definitely cried. We’re planning a watch of the movie now since Lydia loved the musical so much!Also, I’ll say it again for the people in the back: every touring Broadway show does a stage door at every stop...not just in New York. The stage door here at the Civic is so easy to get to and a signed playbill is our fav thing to take home (of course along with a bag full of merch, ha). If you’re at the Civic, the stage door is at the corner of C St. and Third Ave.

Teaching is more than a career, it’s a calling. And leaving after 16 years was……scary. I wasn’t sure how it would go. But I knew I was ready to try something different.Spoiler, I still teach. I still serve a community, but now it’s…..on the interwebs.If I could back to the day I made this decision, I would do it all again. Every last part.I’d hit publish on every piece of writing. And I’d put it all in the same place. And then......Mal and Ben had a couple kids then brought them to Disneyland for Spring Break. 💜👑Listen, there are DIFFERENT Disney Channel Eras. You’re either a Hannah Montana / High School Musical Disney Channel house or a Descendants / Zombies Disney Channel house. I don’t make the rules.I was in my late 20s during HM, so while I love me some Miley......it isn’t our JAM. However, tell me you have a tween without telling me: if you’re a Descendants / Zombies / Frozen household.......you’ve probably got a middle schooler. Solidarity. My point? I’m here for Disney Channel Nite, and had to do a mom take on one of our favs. Lydia said my outfit was.....perfect if I was going for cheesy Disney mom. So....nailed it. 🤣I’m curious....which Disney Channel era are you? Now let’s hope I don’t turn into a pumpkin at 10 pm......these Disney After Dark events are a blast, but I don’t stay up this late anymore!And also…..scroll for some family descendants lore. Robbie’s wig wins it all.

And I might be biased but San Diego’s stage door at the Civic is one of the best. It’s in a great location, plenty of spots to wait and so much fun.Especially looking forward to the MJ the Musical stage door because we get kids.....hoping the actors that play young Michael and young Marlon make an appearance!
