Hello cooler temperatures! I don’t want to jinx anything……but we are anticipating some low 80s and high 70s temperatures here in LA this week. That means fall fashion is in full swing! Not that I don’t love summer (hello I live near the beach)….but man am I ready for sweater weather!
We’ve got a full agenda this week between Lydia’s new dance class, a special event I’ll be attending on Friday (no spoilers but you’ll definitely want to check out my instagram stories Friday afternoon and evening), a special princess movie screening for Lydia on Saturday and you know……work / mom life. In fact, I’m trying to find time to grocery shop. Remember when we were using that great grocery delivery service? I think it’s time to get back into it!
The Best T Shirt Dress for a Pear Shape Body
Ok, let’s talk about wearing fitted dresses if you’re not a size 2. To be honest, for YEARS I avoided fitted dresses like this t shirt dress. I felt like they made me look wide. The joke is? This is pretty much the MOST flattering dress I’ve bought in years (if you follow me on instagram stories then you know I’m OBSESSED and own it in two colors).
The moral of the story? Step out of your comfort zone sometimes……try the dress on. This absolutely isn’t a dress I would have pulled off the rack in a store for myself. My Trunk Club stylist sent it, and I fell in love. The ruching around the hips is SUPER flattering, and it hits at a great length. It also comes in a light heathered blue color (which I also bought). And bonus? It’s under $60!
