Can you believe we’re talking about Easter already?!? I feel like it was just New Year’s Eve. From the teacher perspective, this is the start of the end of a school year. In LA, Spring Break is the week leading up to Easter. Then we have about eight weeks of school before a blissful summer vacation. This year Lydia and I are heading to Raleigh for Spring Break to work on a soon to be announced project (it’s a big one)….and we’ll be returning JUST in time for Easter Sunday. This bunny hat might be my favorite accessory EVER, and you’d better believe Lydia will be wearing it as her Easter Bonnet this year!

Our Easter plans this year? We’ll be heading to one of our favorite resorts here in LA for their Easter Extravaganza! From a petting zoo, to a real live Easter bunny, to a massive egg hunt (and mimosas for the parents)…..it’s a total blast and I can’t WAIT to attend. We also just pulled out a BUNCH of our favorite Easter books, and will be doing a bunch of fun family Easter activities in the next couple weeks. I feel like this is the first year Lydia really gets into holidays, and it’s the best!

Me and my sister are a little over a year apart and when we were growing up,mom always dressed us up cute for Easter.We got poofy,above the knees,pastel easter dresses with matching bonnets,lace socks and matching mary jane shoes.Sometimes if it was cold on easter we would have white tights with our dresses.We always wore rubberpants under our dresses as mom told us they made us feel cuter and more girlish.She always got the rubberpants to match the color of our dresses.She dresed us in the outfits untill we were around 15 or thru puberty.
