Are Zella black workout pants worth it? You guys asked, and I’m telling you my opinion on the MOST popular black workout pants! 

Hi, my name is Carly and I’m addicted to cute workout wear.  Seriously, working on this series for you guys…..has made me a workout clothes addict.  I’m in for a rude awakening next week when school is in session and I need to wear actual clothes.  Now I get why some people live in stretchy pants.  I’m going to be milking this athleisure trend for as long as possible.

So, when I posted about my purple Zella Leggings earlier this week and talked about whether they were worth the money….I got a LOT of emails from you guys.  Some people said they were worth every penny.  Some said they’d NEVER spend that much on purple pants.  And a majority asked the same question.  What about Black Workout Pants? Are the Black Zella Leggings as great fitting as the purple pair?  And this? My verdict on the black leggings I tried from Zella.

Should You Buy Zella Black Workout Pants?

Black workout pants are like the staple piece of any good athletic gear collection.  And my big thing this year? I want to feel good.  So cute workout clothes? It’s as much for fashion as it is for function.  By the end of a work day, if I’m being honest…….working out is not exactly at the top of my list of high interest tasks.  I’d happily cuddle up on the couch with a bowl of ice cream instead.  But, I KNOW that working out makes me feel better in the long run.  I may not be trying to lose a ton of weight (you can read about why HERE)…..but I am trying to stay healthy and strong.  And nothing motivates me to work out like a great workout OUTFIT.

So, black pants are a necessity.  Great fitting ones.  And these? They’re the Zella ‘Live In – Hot’ Mesh Detail Capris (these are an UPDATED SIMILAR VERSION).  I love that they’re a little more exciting than basic black leggings (although I have these also and they’re STELLAR).  The best part of these pants? And most of Zella’s leggings? They’re higher waisted.  So those of us with you know, hips and curves……they hug them without spillover.  Trust me, life changing.

Verdict: YOU NEED THESE.  They’re totally worth the money.
