Last weekend, I was casually chatting with y’all on Instagram Stories. I happened to be wearing a pair of overalls……and you guys went NUTS. The amount of messages asking about overalls for women with curves blew my mind. But the reality is, I get it. Overalls are a huge trend right now. Overalls are cute, comfy, and easy to wear……but only if they fit well. Ironically, I’d been testing out overalls for a blog post anyways…..but you guys really lit a fire under me to get this post done!

Not gonna lie, I own a LOT of overalls. And I wear them ALL. From my favorite black overalls to a variety of denim overalls……I wanted to share my favorite picks for each……and a few tips for how to style overalls.

Dark Denim Overalls:

Denim overalls are a total classic, and dark denim overalls are great for a mature version of them. These are actually my most recent purchase……and I feel like they look a little dressier. I’ve worn them to work paired with a simple striped long sleeved tee, and even to a blog event with a cute ruffled blouse and wedges. Dark denim always dresses up easily, something to keep in mind!

Light Denim Overalls:

The first pair of overalls I bought (a couple years back when they FIRST came back onto the scene) were light denim overalls. I actually pulled that pair out last week, and gave them the once over. The lighter denim color is PERFECT for warmer weather. I love wearing my light denim overalls with a simple white tee and sneakers…..but they’re also great with booties and layers during the cooler months.

Black Overalls:

Can we talk black overalls? They were a HUGE trend over the winter months, and I think they’ll stay strong all the way into spring. I grabbed a pair of black overalls in the late fall, and they were one of the items I wore the most all winter long. They came on every trip we went on, travelled like a dream, and were perfect for day to night wear. For spring I’ll be pairing them with simple black and white tees and flats…….so that they look a little lighter and brighter!
