Let’s talk teacher gift ideas.  We’re coming out of a challenging time, but teacher appreciation week is still happening and these are some great ideas for items you can give your child’s teacher virtually or in person!

Well guys, here we are.  Distance Learning, In Person Learning, and Hybrid Learning.  And honestly? The teachers who are making this work deserve a lot more than a week of appreciation (so do the parents and the kids for the record).  I think it’s really important to still celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week this year, even if it looks a little different than usual.  For the record, if you are wondering “When IS teacher appreciation week?”…..it’s from Monday May 3, 2021 to Friday May 7, 2021.

A few suggestions for how to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week virtually and to still utilize some teacher gift ideas:

• coordinate a set of video messages from each student and edit them together into a slideshow (that way students doing Distance Learning can be included)
• have all the kids surprise their teacher on the class zoom or video call with signs and pictures (the in person students can do this in class)
• order meals to be delivered to the teacher’s house (or the school if they are back)
• gift baskets that can be delivered without contact (see below for a few of my favorite ideas…..these can be ordered and delivered by Amazon or you can put together and drop off at school if you feel comfortable)
