Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Review……will Marvel fans love it or leave it?

Marvel fans……here we go.  The next movie release…….and the first in theatre only release in QUITE some time.  I actually took myself on a movie date last week, and…..I saw it.  From start to absolute finish (if you head to the theaters for this one, be sure to stay until the END of the credits, you’ll thank me later).

Now, y’all know that I’m newer to the Marvel Universe.  In fact, up until a couple months ago….I had only seen ONE Marvel movie.  Well, before Avengers Campus opened……Robbie and I decided to WATCH THEM ALL and I was converted.  The storytelling.  The epic characters.  NO WONDER MARVEL HAS THESE DEVOTED SUPERFANS!

My overall reaction? Let me sum up my Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings review in one sentence.  This movie knocks it out of the park…..an absolute homerun.  This film has the epic storytelling Marvel fans love, some of the best action scenes I’ve EVER watched, and a sweet, soul filled story that is unique for this genre of film.  The cast is phenomenal and this is the perfect addition to Marvel’s film library.

Is it Violent or Scary? Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is rated PG13…..and in my opinion, this is entirely appropriate.  Like many action or martial arts films…..it is stunning and beautifully made, but also contains a fair amount of violence.  Is this on par with other Marvel movies?Absolutely.  I would suggest parents watching this one first if you are sensitive to your child seeing violence in films.

Will Marvel fans love it or leave it? My prediction? This is going to be an epic hit.  This stunning film will be adored by Marvel’s biggest fans, and they’ll love how this welcomes some of our favorite characters to the film library.
