On the hunt for holiday dresses? This white sweater dress is flattering, comfortable and super versatile! Anyone else totally afraid of white clothes? I’m not the only one, right? I imagine spills, smudges, and never mind the fact that anything white will probably make me look WIDER.  Honestly, I’ve avoided white dresses for YEARS.  But I’d also been searching for a bell sleeved sweater dress for years.

This dress was bookmarked on my computer desktop for about a week.  I kept staring at it.  And then deciding I shouldn’t buy a white sweater dress.  Then staring at it again.  In the end? I decided to order and TRY it.  Worst case? I could always return it, right?

Well, hello new winter staple.  I’m OBSESSED.  Never say never, cause I’m a total white dress convert.  This thickly knit dress is super flattering, easy to clean (believe it or not I spilled coffee on it right after these pictures were taken and just wiped it off), and can be worn about a million ways.

I’ve worn this dress already to more than one holiday party……and love how comfortable it is.  Moral of the story? TRY THINGS ON.  Things that you are a little nervous about on the hanger may be the cutest things ON YOUR BODY.  It never hurts to try!

Holiday Dresses: White Sweater Dress

Where can you wear this white sweater dress? Honestly, it’s so versatile that it’s one of my favorite holiday dresses.  It’s perfect for casual fall or winter events when paired with tall boots and a long necklace.  I even threw a vest over this in the evening when the chill hit, and it went from day to night easily.  Want to dress it up? Add simple sparkling earrings and a pair of heels (red would be a fun holiday twist).  Looking for a more sporty look? Add sneakers and a baseball hat.

This dress is a total classic that I know I’ll be wearing for years to come.  Add the right accessories each winter season, and it will look fresh and on trend!
