Looking for the perfect shoes to go with your Disneyland outfits? I'm breaking down how to pick the best shoes for Disneyland by season for maximum style and comfort!
Real talk. You guys know I love Disneyland days. From rope drop to closing, we hit the ground running and try to squeeze in as much time as possible during each trip to the park. Earlier this year we shared our favorite Disneyland Outfits by Season…….and I got the same question about a million times in response.
WHAT ABOUT THE SHOES?
When you're on your feet ALL day, shoes matter. Shoes matter a lot. So I thought I'd put all my favorites in one place. These have all survived multiple Disneyland days (and I have flat feet that are easily sore after long days).
The Best Shoes for Disneyland
A few things to keep in mind when picking the best shoes for Disneyland. BREAK THEM IN FIRST. All new shoes need to be broken in. Otherwise, they'll rub your feet and blisters at Disneyland are NO FUN. Plus, test any pair of shoes in advance. Disneyland is not the place to discover that they're wrong for you. Wear socks with sneakers (I wear no show socks with all sneakers, they're great and comfortable for long days).
During the cooler months, sneakers are my top choice. I can't stand boots or booties for a whole day of walking. Our top choices? Converse, Vans, Nike sneakers, and TOMS. If you're looking for the MOST support……..THESE Nike sneakers are great.
Now let's talk about the hot months. If you're looking for the best shoes for Disneyland to go with those Disneyland outfits in the warmer times of the year……sandals are a must wear. I've tested a TON, and have two favorites. BOTH are Birkenstocks.
Yup, ALL I WEAR to the park. I own a couple of pairs of classic flat Birkenstocks, they're perfectly broken in and a great staple shoe. When I visited for Pixarfest in the Spring, I decided to test out these platform Birkenstocks. Much to my surprise, they were JUST as comfortable as the flat sandals. In fact, I've since bought them in a second color AND convinced three of my Disney loving friends to buy them too ( I own both the tan color and the grey color).
