This Expresso Martini was created in partnership with World Market.Y’all know I’m Italian right? As in, my grandma made the best Italian food ever…..and passed her recipes on to us. Seriously, I don’t know how I escaped my childhood without being a bazillion pounds……I can’t begin to count how many amazing spaghetti meals I ate growing up. In high school, I had the good fortune to visit Italy for the first time. I visited again when my sister planned her amazing wedding there years later. And each time, I fell more in love. With the culture, with the international food, and most importantly with THE COFFEE. Have you had a great Italian expresso? It’s pure heaven. At some point, it was inevitable….I had to turn my favorite flavor into a cocktail. So…….the expresso martini.
Trust me, it’s delicious…..and my favorite part? By using Coffee Soda…..it’s lighter than most creamy martinis. In fact, instead of being full after the first cocktail…..you’ll be ready for round two.
4 ounces vodka
2 ounces coffee liquor
12 ounces Coffee Soda
garnish with expresso beans
stir (or shake gently) over ice
Items used for Tablescape (they’re cute, right?)

So…….as much as I love this expresso martini recipe, I love THIS info even more. This is HUGE. World Market, The Chew and Bella Italia are giving away…….a culinary trip for two to Italy! Yup, the whole deal. Airfare, accommodations, an Italian cooking class, excursions, Chefs Tasting dinners, and a $1,000 World Market gift card. Amazing, right?
And, if case you haven’t watched The Chew……you’re missing out! I started recording it recently, and I’m totally addicted!
