On the hunt for great Cancun all inclusive resorts? I just stayed at the Seadust Cancun Family Resort, and am sharing ALLLLL the need to know details!
Thank you to the Seadust Cancun Family Resort for hosting our stay.
Well, after an amazing trip to Cancun, I’m back to reality. While I shared the details of the amazing trip I went on with Miraclesuit over on Instagram, I got a TON of questions about the resort we visited. The Seadust Cancun Family Resort was ABSOLUTELY fabulous, and I’m excited to share more details about our stay.
Now, when it comes to all inclusive resorts……I’m always concerned. Will the food be up to par? What about the customer service? The amenities? Spoiler: the Seadust Cancun Family Resort absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the delicious food to the spa to the phenomenal customer service, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish and I can’t wait to head back with the family as soon as possible.
Seadust Cancun Family Resort: What You Need to Know
The Seadust Cancun Family Resort is located directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in Cancun. Right before Mother’s Day, a group of us headed there for a quick getaway with the team from Miraclesuit. I actually arrived the evening before the rest of the ladies, since I was the only one arriving from the West Coast. I loved having a little extra time to explore and adjust to the time difference. West Coasters, I left LAX at about 9:45 am and arrived in Cancun at 4:15 pm (with the time difference). It was perfect timing, I arrived at the Seadust Cancun Family Resort for dinner (and yes, I ate room service on my patio staring out at the ocean….it was PERFECTION).
The Seadust has a TON of amazing dining options (there are 10 restaurants on property and 24 hour room service options). And trust me, there is something for everyone. From the Food Gallery (a buffet with TONS of options) to La Maison De Michelle (the adults only French gourmet dining experience) there is literally something for everyone. My personal favorite dining experiences? Maguey (the Mexican restaurant on property — try the mole, it’s amazing) and Atlantis for breakfast (the view is stunning)!
Want to be sure that you get some water time in? The resort has multiple pools, a kids’ water park area, and amazing access to their private beach. Trust me, there is no shortage of water access.
If you’d love to explore beyond the resort, there are plenty of excursions options. We tried a catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres for the day and it was a total blast. The ship stopped en route for snorkeling, and we had time to shop on the island. My favorite part of the day? We docked at a beautiful beach club for lunch and had time to explore. It was relaxing, a totally different vibe than being at a resort, and we were back in time for a delicious dinner.
On our last morning, we visited the spa for massages and facials and it was the PERFECT way to say goodbye to Cancun. The spa was relaxing, and my massage was absolutely heavenly.
If you’re on the hunt for one of the best all inclusive resorts in Cancun, then the Seadust Cancun Family Resort is PERFECT. From the amazing food to the great customer service, I’d highly recommend it and can’t wait to visit again soon!
