My first marathon and then a few half marathons. I felt....constantly sore and exhausted. And frankly, I was starting to really dislike it.So, I did something wild. I took more days off. I started running shorter distances. I’m getting my speed back again and more importantly, my enjoyment.Rest is best (mom bonus points if you catch the reference).Rest is also an important part of growth of any type.
