Looking for the perfect Disneyland outfits to wear this summer? I’m breaking down our favorite mommy and me outfits for warm days at the park!
Oh hello summer temperatures. Last weekend, I FINALLY brought Lydia to Disneyland to see everything Pixarfest. I know, long overdue. I’d been promising her I’d take her for a full day since I went to the Pixarfest media preview last month…..and time just kept getting away from me. Luckily, the weather was PERFECT. Cool in the morning, warm midday and then a lovely 80 degrees later in the afternoon. We had friends in town, so we got to explore with some fresh sets of eyes.
The biggest part of the day? Lydia is FINALLY tall enough to go on a TON of Disneyland rides. Now here’s the thing….I’m a giant baby when it comes to roller coasters. I’m terrified of heights, and anything with speed or drops? Not a fan. So I’ve been kind of avoiding this. We did her first real big kid ride (Radiator Springs) and she loved it. Immediately after, she begged to go on Guardians of the Galaxy…..and THAT’S where I put my foot down (have you SEEN the footage of that drop?). So we settled for some milkshakes and a few rides in Carsland……and it was totally my speed.
Notice anything else exciting in these pictures? Yup, we snagged the coveted millenial pink ears. To be fair, we didn’t snag them. My friend Sally spotted them and grabbed them for us (she’s a KILLER Disney resource…..so be sure to check her out)! Once I had them in my hands, I knew we needed a full mommy and me outfit to pay tribute. It may be a little much…..but I’m not gonna lie…..these Disneyland outfits might be my favorite ones we’ve shot. Lydia’s sandals? Adorable and a total steal. And the pops of pink? Perfect for summertime at the park!

Lydia loved loved loved seeing everything Pixarfest. From the special food offerings to the Pixar Play Parade…….it was a huge hit. We’re actually going back in a couple weeks to see all the nighttime parts (cause 7 am to 4 pm was about all I could do a on a Sunday when we had a 90 minute drive home). We’ll be staying close to the park and staying up late to see the special fireworks show, the Paint the Night parade and more! But for now? The daytime was a total blast. If you’ve got preschool aged kids…..be sure to check out all the fun in Carsland, it’s Lydia’s current favorite and perfect for warm summer days (plus Flo’s Cafe has indoor seating with AIR CONDITIONING)!

Now just for fun…..I had to include this outtake when our favorite Zootopia characters kicked us out of our photo spot…….they were starting their meet and greet and we were in their way!
I totally wanted matching overalls this year! Glad I’m not the only one. Lol
