Want to know what Robbie thought of Frozen 2? This Dad’s review of Frozen 2 is a must read!
Yup, we saw it again. We’re Frozen 2 repeaters. Lydia and I had the chance to screen the movie early (you can see OUR Frozen 2 review here)…..but Robbie wasn’t able to come with us (he had work that day). Luckily, I already had a plan for Frozen 2’s release date. Long before we had an invite to a screening, we had planned a Frozen 2 family date. And then something magical happened. Disney made it even better. We had tickets to an opening night showing at our local theatre already……but they sent Lydia the cutest costumes to wear and even treated us to braids at our local hair salon.
A Dad’s Review: Frozen 2
So what did he think of it? A little back story: Robbie is a professional musician, so he has STRONG opinions about film scores and music. He’s also a Frozen expert thanks to the five year old.
Plot: It was definitely a lot more complicated than the first movie, but I liked the adventure aspect. I think older kids will enjoy this one (especially the kids who were into the first movie). It was a bit scarier and darker, but I think it told a good story.
Music: The music was amazing. From Kristoff’s epic 80s inspired tune to Into the Unknown, I think the music was as good as the first film.
Favorite Parts: I really like the adventure, and seeing more of Arendelle. I like that Olaf had a bigger role (he’s really funny in this one), and I like that we got to see some new characters.
Dad Verdict: Is it worth seeing? Absolutely. You might even like it more than the first film!
We love you Robbie!!! You got diehard fans out here! More rob! More rob! More rib! Vacation robbie Rocks too
