On the hunt for holiday dresses? This Red Christmas Dress is the perfect piece to wear over and over again this holiday season!
Finding this Christmas Tree already up at our local outdoor mall was a random surprise. Does anyone else feel like Christmas decorations go up earlier and earlier each year? In years past, I've been very anti-Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving…..but this year? The minute Halloween hit, I was all jazzed about putting them up. Yup, our fireplace is dressed to the nines and we even already put up a little princess Christmas Tree for Lydia.
Maybe it's because I'm already stressing over our holiday party calendar? For whatever reason, I feel like we are booked solid from the day after Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve. But the one smart thing I did this year? I stocked up on holiday dresses early. So now? I have a few hanging in my closet and ready to go.
Holiday Dresses: Red Christmas Dress
Remember that t shirt dress I got over the summer? The perfect fitting, under $75 one? The one that I bought in two colors and pretty much wear constantly? Well, imagine my excitement when I discovered there was a long sleeved version. This long sleeved, slightly heavy fabric version? Is the perfect red christmas dress (and it's under $60). And the best part? It's so versatile, it can also be the perfect Valentine's Day Date Night Dress or the perfect wear to work with flats and a jean jacket dress.
Full disclosure, I've worn this dress twice in the last week. I wore it dressed up (like you see here) for a pre-holiday shopping preview event. Paired with a simple chunky necklace and heels, it was perfect for a fancier event. I also wore it with a patched denim jacket and leopard print flats to work. And for a third way to wear it? I traded those leopard print flats in for simple mule heels and wore the same dress out to dinner.
Who doesn't love a dress that flatters, and can be worn a million ways. I'm telling you guys, the subtle ruching? Makes this streamlined dress perfect for us ladies with curves. (I bought it in black too, so don't judge when you see it around here again).
