Phew, is anyone else breathing a Tax Day sigh of relief? My husband is an independent contractor….so taxes are always VERY complicated. After weeks of putting everything together, we are done….and our taxes are signed, sealed and delivered. That calls for a drink, right? I figured this was the perfect day to share our latest Mommy Juice concoction……a delicious Banana Colada!
I whipped this baby up this weekend with the help of Blue Chair Bay’s banana rum……and hubby claims it’s the best cocktail yet! It’s a perfect warm weather cocktail, so trust me…..this one will be on repeat over the hot summer months.
Banana Colada
Yum
Ingredients:
3 jiggers of Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum
3 cups of peach juice
2 jiggers of Cream of Coconut
ice cubes
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend for two minutes or until combined.
Garnish with sweetened coconut shavings, and enjoy in your lawn chair watching the sunset.
Serves 2 (or one recovering from tax day individual)
Oh, and Blue Chair Bay is giving away a bottle of Banana Rum to one lucky winner……..all you have to do? Pin this recipe. Yup, that’s it! I’ll be picking one lucky winner and contacting them to get their shipping address so that they can make their own banana colada cocktails! Be sure to check out other cocktail recipes before you go!
This rum was provided by Blue Chair Bay Rum for sample purposes…..but my obsession with it? All my own!

You drink recipes always look straight out of a magazine! This looks so good. The problem is how do you stick to just 1?! Not that I’m a lush or anything but I’ll probably have like 3 of these bad boys.
