Disney Alaska Cruise Outfits: Packed too much, but Disney Alaska Cruise Outfits: Packed too much, but wasn’t missing anything I actually needed so we’ll take the win.Never saw the outside of my suitcase: most of the dresses I brought for dinnersUsed a ton: waterproof clothes, layers, comfy shoesLayers are everything on an Alaskan Cruise. The weather is unpredictable and so different between a glacier day and in port. Want all the info on what I actually wore? What I’d suggest leaving at home? Comment SUITCASE and I’ll send over my full Alaska Cruise packing list now that we are home and unpacked!
My honest thoughts on the excursions we did during My honest thoughts on the excursions we did during our Alaska Cruise on the Disney Wonder ❄️🚢🩵I did an embarrassing amount of research before booking and it paid off. I genuinely loved the balance of these choices and they left time to also explore each location.Skagway: White Pass Scenic Railway 🚂 This was absolutely stunning and the best way to get some epic views of the Pass. There is a narrator, and yes there are bathrooms in each car. I will say, it’s long. Bring snacks and drinks. This is a great option for anyone with mobility issues.Juneau: Sled Dog Discovery and Musher’s Camp 🛷 My favorite. I was worried this wouldn’t live up to the winter vibes we see all over and the pricier tours that fly you up to the snow. It was a TOTAL blast and WE GOT TO HOLD SIX WEEK OLD PUPPIES. Perfect for all ages. Ketchikan: Exclusive Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show 🪵 This was cheesy and kitchy and so much fun. So glad we booked the Disney exclusive version because Goofy was so cute (and he only comes to that show). Tons of audience participation for kids and this was just the right length. We booked all these through Disney. It was great to have that guidance (the Sled Dog excursion met on the ship which was LOVELY since it was early).Have you been to Alaska? Done any of these? Planning a trip? Hope this is a help and feel free to drop any questions in the comments!!
Disney Cruise Line Exclusive Alaska Merch ❄️✨🩵 Al Disney Cruise Line Exclusive Alaska Merch ❄️✨🩵All of these items were available during our early June sailing on the Disney Wonder. And this is your PSA not to worry, items were restocked numerous times during our sailing! There was a line the first night, but I saw every item back in the stores the next day. Most popular items:- the striped Alaska zip up - Minnie and Mickey stuffies in their Alaska outfits- the burgundy kids’ hoodie (adults kept buying out the largest size to wear themselves)- the exclusive waterproof jacket in white
How do you summarize your dream vacation in a few How do you summarize your dream vacation in a few photos? It’s almost impossible to capture the joy that was our Disney Alaska cruise, but....I tried....in 20 photos.I’d been dreaming of this trip for years, and I am so grateful to my father in law for this incredible gift. I’ll share more this week, but yes, it’s absolutely worth every penny. Alaska is beautiful and wild and unique and almost feels....untouched by time or the outside world. The combination of Alaska and Disney is truly something special. We trivia’d. We walked all over Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. We hugged 6 week old sled dog puppies. We ate so much good food. We sat in saloons that had been around since the 1800s and went to the State Museum and walked 10,000 steps a day. We saw the best shows onboard and got to see our favorite pals in their Alaska outfits and had somehow....absolutely perfect weather.I’m so glad we did this. And no offense y’all, but I’m glad I went offline for the week. It was so nice to be truly present knowing that I could share snippets with y’all when we returned to the lower 48.
DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DID: These were from our firs DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DID:These were from our first trip to Walt Disney World years ago. We had one day in Orlando before a cruise and I decided we needed to see “all the parks”. We made it to three (sorry Animal Kingdom). While it was really fun to see them, having been to WDW many times since.....I would tell you to slow down during your first visit. One park a day so that you can truly enjoy. And if I had to pick one? Not gonna lie Epcot or Hollywood Studios (because Toy Story).A perfect first WDW trip? 4 days. 4 parks. One each day. With a rest day in the middle somewhere (make it a water park or pool day). I promise. It’s the way to go.Now, here’s the bonus and the reason I literally posted this walking off the ship from our vacation: For a limited time, Undercover Tourist is offering a FREE $10 Disney Gift Card with any Walt Disney World ticket purchased. This is a GREAT deal that I didn’t want y’all to miss AND this offer can be used on ANY ticket, including their 4-Park Magic Ticket perfect for seeing all 4 parks this summer!Grab it while you can!!!@themeparkfrog #undercovertouristfrogfriend
Not going to lie, I wasn’t sure this was real unti Not going to lie, I wasn’t sure this was real until the camera crew showed up at our house 🤣Since we all know I love a good yap session…..thought we’d take this one national. Tomorrow morning (June 7th) I’ll be on CBS Sunday Morning across the country talking about my very unexpected GLP1 experience. There will be medical experts as well but I’m talking all about the feelings, nerves, doubts and how this changed my life. And bonus? This took exactly the length of the school day. Camera crew was packed up and leaving when Lydia got home.
