Thank you to buybuy BABY for collaborating on this post. It’s crazy that we were working on our baby registry exactly two years ago. After tons of research, we ended up with a TON of stuff. Now, almost two years later…..there are 5 baby registry must haves that I suggest to any pregnant friend! These items were used on a daily basis for a significant portion of these two year, and I would buy each of them again in a heartbeat. So, baby on the way? These are your new mommy must haves! To take this trip back down memory lane, buybuy BABY sent me to their newly opened location near our home. Honestly? I was blown away. While I’ve shopped online at buybuy BABY, I had never visited one of their stores. I sat down with one of the registry experts, and couldn’t stop saying how I wished their location had been open while I was pregnant with Lydia!
Buybuy BABY offers some pretty amazing perks. Their registry experts are able to walk you through the process step by step. They can give suggestions, have you try out different products, and help you maintain sanity during a stressful time. They have a great completion program, so you get a discount on anything from your registry that isn’t gifted to you. I was amazed to see that all of my 5 baby registry must haves, were on my registry expert’s list too!
5 Baby Registry Must Haves
Bassinest: Every baby needs a safe place to sleep. If you’re a paranoid first time mom like me, then the crib in baby’s room? Too far away. Lydia slept in a bassinest in our room for the first few months of life.
Ergo Carrier: Not gonna lie. I swore I wouldn’t be one of those moms who wore their child. It looked ridiculous. Well, I was wrong wrong wrong. This carrier was the BEST thing ever for the first year of Lydia’s life. I walked her in it through the witching hour, we used it while we flew across the country, and it saved my life when grocery shopping for the first 6 months or so.
Bob Stroller: Before Lydia was born, both my husband and I were runners. And if we didn’t invest in a jogging stroller? We certainly wouldn’t be now! The minute Lydia was old enough, we both started running with her. We love it, and so does she!
Sound Machine: To this day, Lydia sleeps with a sound machine. I love that we can talk in normal volumes without worrying about waking her….plus it’s a great sleep cue! When traveling, she hears that noise? And goes right to sleep!
Glider: We didn’t buy a glider in the beginning. And my mom was shocked. I have to admit, she was right. After about a month, we ordered one…..and I wish we’d had it since the beginning. Those nighttime feedings? So much easier!
Doesn’t the store look amazing? Experienced mommies, what would YOU add to this registry must have list?
