LA with a kid? Los Angeles is known for a lot of things, but family friendly fun? Maybe not at the top of the list. Well, rest assured City of Angels dwellers (and visitors)……LA just got a ton more family friendly. Discovery Cube Los Angeles opened right before the holidays, and it’s amazing!
I had heard a TON about Discovery Cube Los Angeles before our visit, and I had very high expectations. We’re in luck, Discovery Cube Los Angeles is located in Sylmar about twenty minutes from our house.
So, the details for parents wanting to visit Discovery Cube Los Angeles? Go….ASAP! Easy parking? Check! A great park outside? Check! A special area for the little kids like Lydia? Check! We spent the majority of our visit in the Early Learners area…….and it was amazing! Lydia loved it! The Early Learners area currently houses Thomas & Friends Explore the Rails…..a hands on experience featuring everyone’s favorite blue train. The exhibit was perfect for Lydia’s height…….and had more hands on activities than we could complete in one day. Honestly? I had visions of future playdates floating around my brain within the first twenty minutes. Explore the Rails is a perfect spot for little ones to climb, manipulate and explore. We already have plans to return…..and have convinced a couple of our friends to join.
Discovery Cube Los Angeles is a welcome addition to the city of angels……and we can’t wait to return!
Discovery Cube Los Angeles Annual Family Membership: $99
Discovery Cube Los Angeles invited our family to visit, but our obsession and need to return? That’s all us!
