Somehow, I feel like I blinked…..and our darling daughter is already approaching a year. When did THAT happen? I have all these projects I meant to do during her first year, and the time has flown. I can’t believe how much Lydia has grown already……and wanted to track her growth. I don’t want to forget how far she’s already come!
So, I partnered with Got Milk? to create a simple DIY Growth Chart. Did you know that milk is a stellar source of protein? There are 8 grams of protein in every 8 oz glass. Milk also has 9 essential nutrients: calcium, protein, potassium, vitamin D, vitamin B12, vitamin A, riboflavin, and niacin. Milk incorporated into a healthy diet prevents cavities, strengthens nails and bones.
Milk creates a strong foundation for our children, which is why it was the PERFECT inspiration for this simple craft!
How To:Paint one layer of chalkboard paint onto yard stick. Allow to dry for one hour before applying second coat. Wait 24 hours for paint to completely dry. Use paint pens to mark each increment (we marked every 12 inches). In a separate color mark each milestone with date or age.
