I've been struggling with looking at outfit pictures lately. Truth, I'm 35 years old and have a young baby. While I'm trying my best to stay active and be healthy, bouncing back is a little harder than I thought. But, I'm choosing to give myself a little grace here.
Those wider hips? Are wide because they carried our darling daughter for 10 months. And they're a perfect spot to carry her these days.
My larger than usual thighs? Carried me on daily walks for the entire pregnancy and are SLOWLY taking me back on runs…..and seem to be remembering that running means moving faster than a snail's pace. They also are are Lydia's favorite place to sit.
Ironically, my arms seem stronger than ever. Could it be lifting the baby all the time? She's much cuter than the weights I used to lift!
