Looking for the best workout sets for women with curves? These are my tried and true sets of leggings and workout tops at every price point!
From running to riding the spin bike we bought back in May to strength training (my newest favorite exercise) or the family neighborhood walks we take a lot lately……I feel like workout sets are all I wear. For me? I look for a couple simple things…….stress, good support on top, and function. Do they hold up well to actual exercise? Do they last well when washed? And…..do I feel great wearing them?
I’m going to repeat……working out should be fun, and some thing that is empowering. Not uncomfortable and not a punishment. So, pick clothes that make it fun.
These are a few of my favorites:
Workout Sets: The Best for Women with Curves
Honestly? I heard people talk about Zella leggings for years…..and I doubted they were worth the hype. Were they really worth the money? I actually did a full Zella leggings review, and let me tell you…..YES, they’re great. I own them in a shorter, yoga pant version as well as the full length leggings. And, highly recommend. I wear a large in Zella leggings, and a medium in their tops and sports bras. And bonus? They’re regularly on sale.

Old Navy is a mainstay in my wardrobe, and their workout sets are no exception. They make GREAT medium level compression leggings, have a killer size range, and usually have kids workout wear in case you want to coordinate with your kiddos…..plus Old Navy prices are stellar. I own a couple of their limited release sets, and then a bunch of their regular ongoing collection. I love their black compression leggings for running (and wear a size large) and they have great sports bras with a variety of support levels.

Now, you guys know I love Aerie. From their body positive outlook, to their great prices, to their great fitting workout sets. I love that they come in fun prints (they’re always limited edition so if you see a print you love, snag it) and that they have high waisted options as well crossover waisted leggings (that are MEGA flattering). I will say, their sports bras are usually light to medium support. But, for yoga or lower impact activities? They’re perfect!

Girlfriend is another one of those is it work the internet hype workout sets that I was dying to try. They’re ecofriendly (their gear is made partially out of recycled water bottles) and come in the most fun colors. But did they fit well? I grabbed their leggings and a sports bra in tart (a fun bright orange color) over the holidays….and I have to say, I LOVE THEM. The pants are a great fit for me, and I love how high waisted they are. And the sports bra? Great support for a nonpadded bra. I wear the pants in a large and the sports bra in a medium. And the best part? They have two inseam options, and range from an XXS to a 6X.

If you haven’t tried Core 10 workout sets yet, you’re missing out. This Amazon exclusive brand as a total cult following and it’s easy to see why. Their leggings fit like a DREAM and they’re an amazing price and I love the fun pairings they have (like this ruffled set). These are lower support sports bras, and no compression leggings. I’d highly suggest for yoga or even jogging or spinning.
