Trunk Club Review July 2017: What I Kept, What I Returned and a HUGE giveaway!Sooooooooo. If you've been around here awhile, then you may have noticed a small change. I'm in love with a new personal styling service. For the most part, I try not to drag Lydia to the mall. Shopping with a toddler? Not fun for anyone. I've been trying out different personal shopping home services…..and my current favorite? Trunk Club.
Why did I switch? Trunk Club is an amazing service that is owned by Nordstrom. I love that the pieces that my stylist sends for me to try are brands I know and love. And my other favorite thing? My relationship with my stylist. This is the ONLY service I've tried where I get to have conversations with her. We chat (using the messaging service on Trunk Club's website) and I can even preview my Trunk before she sends it. I have the ability to ask for other color options, say I don't like something or mention if I already own it.
I got a TON of really great items in my trunk this month, and I actually shared a bunch of them over on instagram stories…..but wanted to share them here too.
Trunk Club Review July 2017
Eliza J Scarf Print Jersey & Crêpe de Chine Maxi Dress (size 10, $158): I loved loved loved the fit of this dress. And the colors? So pretty right? I feel like it could easily be dressed up for a wedding or dressed down with a jean jacket and flat sandals. And the pink bow? I just love it.
Sam Edelman Susie d'Orsay Ankle Strap Sandal (coral, on sale for $83): These were my absolute favorite thing from this entire trunk. The color is amazing and they're SO comfortable. I'm actually ordering them in a couple more colors!
Nic+Zoe Summer Solstice Maxi Dress (size medium, $188): I loved loved loved the print of this dress, however the cut wasn't my favorite.
Halogen V-Neck Shift Dress (size medium, $59): This dress was a killer price, but I didn't love the length. I felt like it hit my knees in a funny way.
Chelsea28 Cold Shoulder Midi Dress (size medium, on sale for $59): I loved the color of this dress, and the general design….but it felt like it didn't quite fit correctly. There was nothing WRONG with it, I just didn't love it on.
Eliza J Jersey Fit and Flare Dress (size 10, $128): I seriously debated keeping this dress. The colors? I love them. I love the ruffle. It fits like a dream, but I just didn't think I'd get a ton of use out of it. If I had a bunch of weddings to attend or showers this year? I'd have kept it.
Other items from my trunk this month?
/ j.crew harbor print sailor shorts / superga metallic sneakers / adidas gazelle sneakers / sincerely jules joggers /
