This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and DripDrop®, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #DrinkDripDrop #DripDropHydrates http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that Lydia got the stomach flu a couple weekends ago. It came on out of nowhere, and it WASN’T pretty. She couldn’t keep food or liquid down for most of a day, and of course…..hubby was at work for the day. Thank goodness, I’m one of the last of my friends to have kids……and I actually listened to experienced mommies. I made a streamlined list of all the things mommies suggested keeping on hand in our toddler first aid kit…..and let me tell you, I’ve used just about all of them at some point! Keep reading, cause I created a printable version for y’all…..and trust…..you’ll be happy you stocked your own toddler first aid kit!
A few of my favorite items from our toddler first aid kit:
– DripDrop Hydration Powder : I picked this up recently in the baby aisle at CVS after a friend recommended it….the best part about it? It’s great for helping the entire family (including babies age one and older) hydrated and treating mild to moderate dehydration. After Lydia’s stomach bug, she guzzled DripDrop like a champ. She loved the lemon flavor, and it really helped to rehydrate her and get her back to her normal self. I love how easy the packets are to store, and we have a couple in our diaper bag now in case of sickness emergencies or for the eventual hot summer days!
– digital thermometer : I HATED taking Lydia’s temperature. Babies don’t exactly love it either. It took forever, and was a huge production. Our digital no touch thermometer has been a game changer. It takes under a minute, and is painless for all of us.
-liquid pain reliever : We are currently in teething town. It’s not fun. I mean, would you like to feel teeth cutting through your gums? Lydia’s usually fine during the day, and does well with teething rings and toys. We do give her liquid pain reliever on the nights her teeth are actually cutting through….and it helps a TON. I’d suggest having some on hand for teething and in case of fevers.

Great idea! Thank you.
A first aid kit for your little ones is always a good idea. I had never heard of DripDrop Hydration Powder. You learn something new every day! ~Cynthia
Great kit! I will have to check out those drip drops. Great way to stay hydrated.
What a genius little kit! I wish I would’ve thought of this! 😉 I’ll have to put one together for Alea– she’s forever getting bumps and scrapes! And that Drip Drop drink? I bet she would love it, too!
What a great idea! I was always digging out supplies whenever one of the kids had a “boo-boo” thanks for sharing!
Thats a kit not only for toddlers but for all ages.. never know when you might need it.
I’ll be on the lookout for the Drip Drop next time I head to the pharmacy – it looks fantastic! We have the same thermometer, too – total game changer!
We have to hide our band-aids in the house. My daughter likes wearing them for fun!
As a fellow mommy, I can definitely say I’ve used everything on this list. We used the Drip drop powder while at the beach last summer. Total game changer. (:
Sounds like a great kid for kids! I agree with Kungphoo. Actually, not only for kids..for everybody!
I love our no-touch thermometer too — you can even use it while your child is asleep! I love the other suggestions you have as well. It makes life so much easier to know where everything is when you’ve got a sick child in the middle of the night.
That DripDrop stuff sounds seriously great to have around for times when stuff like the stomach bug goes around and you can’t help but become dehydrated so easily.
Those little hydration packets look like such a great idea, I’m going to look for them here – thanks!!
Thanks for sharing! Such a great idea.
What a great idea to have this kit ready at all times.
I want to try those drip drop things!
Ohhh genius! A toddler first aid kit….I’m sharing this with my mom friends!!!
Great list of items!
Great kit! I really need to get some toddler friendly products. My 2 year old is always getting hurt!
This is a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
I just heard about this recently, and I think it’s fantastic to have on hand, and perfect for a first aid kit.
Having a good first aid kit for toddlers is soooo important, because they can’t use or take a lot of things we use as adults! I love the DripDrop powder because I can easily throw it in a bottle of water and give it to the baby without fuss!
This is a great kit to have on hand. I need to try those dripdrops. This is the first I’m seeing them.
Thus is a lovely gift idea for new moms
Great ideas! You never know when you’ll need it!!
Anything that helps with teething is a-ok in my book. You’re right, that description of a tooth cutting through the gum made me wince (just reading it).
That is a great list of items to keep. We have a general first aid kit and now I think it would be prudent to have one for our toddler as well.
Drop in’s sound awesome! Are the ingredients all natural? I love the idea of the toddler first aid kit. We have one as well!
I hope Lydia is doing better now. I can understand how difficult it is to manage when your kid gets stuck with a flu in no time. This toddler first aid kid definitely looks promising & supportive. Thanks for sharing.
It is essential to be prepared when your little ones get sick. Having a kit in place is a great idea. You definitely don’t want to be digging for thermometers and fever reducer when you have a sick an crying toddler on your hands.
I could not imagine caring for a child with the stomach flu. It must be incredibly miserable for them. I would have never thought that they had dehydration powder for lil’ ones.
Great idea for a kit. I need to make one of these. I love my digital thermometer too. Hydration powder- ingenious! I didn’t know this existed.

I remember when I needed a humidifier and I didn’t have one. It is most convenient to just have for when you need. Great ideas here! Thank you for linking up at Snickerdoodle. Hope to see you on Saturday!
