Stitch Fix Review April 2019……what I kept, what I returned and what you should request! Oh hey spring! Yup, we're officially here! The weather is warm, and my calendar is filled with spring activities. From Easter to spring break to short weekend getaways, I have a ton of fun things on the agenda, and wanted to add some new spring clothes to the mix. For my April Stitch Fix, I requested something a little different. I wanted to try more high end brands, and was REALLY hoping for great dresses.
In case you aren’t already familiar with STITCH FIX…….a bit about the service: STITCH FIX is a personalized styling service that sends five pieces (including accessories if you choose)to your doorstep. The great thing? When you join, you fill out an extensive styling profile. You can request certain items or even ask for options for a specific event (like a conference or vacation). You choose how often you get a fix (for me it’s usually once a month). In the comfort of your own home, you try on all items. Then you keep what you love, and send back the rest…..and all with free shipping! There is a $20 styling fee, but you can use that $20 as a credit towards any of the items you keep. And YES, you can set a price range you feel comfortable with.

Stitch Fix Review April 2019
I tried something a little different with this fix, I requested some higher end brands. I wanted to see what I received for adding a higher price point to my budget.
Trina Turk Sass Wool Fringe V Neck Sweater (size medium, $198, returned): I did like this sweater, it fit really well. But for the price? I didn't think I would get THAT much use out of it.
Kate Spade Stripe Contrast Pocket Tee (size medium, $98, returned): I love a good striped tee. And this was ALMOST a keeper. It felt a little boxy. Had it been a slightly slimmer fit, I would have happily paid the price and kept it.
Trina Turk Sass Wool Fringe Sweater Dress (size medium, $298, returned): I requested this dress. I saw it on a couple of other people, pinned it to my Pinterest wishlist, and couldn't wait for it to arrive. And I didn't like how it fit. I was actually really disappointed, because I thought it would be a favorite.
Lilly Pulitzer Aviana Maxi Dress (size 10, $228, returned): I loved loved loved the colors of this dress. It fit perfectly. In fact, I could totally imagine wearing it a ton in the summer. But I own a SUPER similar sundress, and I felt like I didn't need both in my wardrobe.
Toms Tropez Suede Peep Toe Wedge ($89.96, returned): I love anything from TOMS. And these sandals? Were super comfortable. If I didn't already own pink wedges, I would definitely have kept these.

So the verdict? I didn't keep anything. Which was a little disappointing. But here's to trying again next month!
