There are twenty one teaching days left until summer vacation (but who’s counting). I’m dreaming of lazy days, evenings in our backyard and summer cocktails with friends. In fact, we had a little preview this past weekend and it was glorious! Y’all know I’m all about easy party planning. Once friends have arrived, I’d rather be with them than slaving away over appetizers or laborious cocktails. And last weekend, I experimented with the easiest make ahead cocktails EVER….sangria popsicles! These were a huge hit, and took less than ten minutes to make. In fact, my only complaint was that I should have made more! I mean honestly, what’s better than frozen wine on a hot summer night? Add in simple picnic decor, and you’ve got a perfect summer soiree.
