We're back to school, and everyone's schedule is back to busy. Between the hustle and bustle of the school year, here are 13 pictures you should take of your kids each and every year.
Confession, last year I forgot to take Lydia's first day of school picture. I dropped her off, and rushed off to work. Mid-way through the morning, I realized my mistake. I'm not going to lie, I was PRETTY upset. She had been in school part time over the summer, and I sort of forgot that the new school year was starting. But when I started to see everyone's cute first day of school pictures pop up, I cringed. I'd forgotten something IMPORTANT! We did (mom of the year over here's idea) take second day of school pictures.
But, my solution? I made a list of all the special days during the school year I wanted to document. They're now in my calendar. Let's be honest, otherwise….the hustle and bustle of life will take over.
So, for your benefit…..I'm sharing 13 pictures to take of your kiddos each and every school year!
Pictures to Take Each School Year:
- First Day of School (second day if you forgot, like we did)
- First Day of Fall
- Back to School Night

- First Day of Winter Break (bonus if you take this one of everyone not getting out of pajamas all day)

Such a cute outfit! I love both of your dresses! And don’t be so hard on yourself! I’ve missed some moments, but the main thing is that they know they’re loved! 🙂
