I know, I know. This is the MAMA / daughter style series…..and we have an imposter today! I couldn’t help it….these pictures we took while on our trip to South Carolina were so adorable……that I had to share them. Our trip was a total weather reversal (we flew from Los Angeles to San Francisco for a week, then flew to South Carolina). The whole month leading up to our travels, I was SO SO SO worried about the weather in South Carolina. These pictures are from a larger photoshoot we did with my husband’s entire family. We wanted to shoot on the streets of Charleston, and I was absolutely convinced it would snow or rain. Well, we had perfect weather in South Carolina and it rained the entire time we were in San Francisco!
Now, can we talk about our outfits?
Lydia’s skirt? Too cute right? I’ve talked about the company that sent over both Lydia’s skirt and tights before. Schoola is an absolutely amazing organization. As a teacher, I think they’re the greatest. Why? They help schools provide programs for kids. Schoola is an online shop filled with new and recycled women’s and children’s clothes. Families send in pieces, and designate a school of their choice. The proceeds from the sales of those items help fund arts, music and PE in schools across the country. And bonus? You can snag some great deals on kids’ clothing!
Now, my outfit. This cape is seriously my favorite thing EVER. It’s by Evy’s Tree (who I’ve talked about before). They make easy, stylish pieces that every mom needs. I’m a little embarrassed to admit how many of their sweatshirts I own. The Britt Cape is comfy, warm and versatile…..in fact, each of us mamas styled it our own way this month. Be sure to check out each of our blogs to see how we all wore it. Oh, and…..Evy’s Tree is giving four readers each their own Britt Cape. Yes, you read that right….FOUR. One on each of our blogs. So, after you scroll down and enter here…..be sure to visit each of my fellow Mamas to enter their contest as well!
