Looking for community service ideas you can complete as a family? If you are looking for service projects for kids, then these Acts of Love are for you!
“Stay where you are. Find your own Calcutta. Find the sick, the suffering, and the lonely right there where you are — in your own homes and in your own families, in your workplaces and in your schools. You can find Calcutta all over the world, if you have the eyes to see.” -Mother Teresa
Anyone else feel like with the climate in our country right now that you need to DO SOMETHING? I’ve been feeling this itch lately to serve others. And I’ve been thinking about how important it is to come up with community service ideas that my child can participate in. So, I’m teaming up with my friend Molly to start a series. Each month we’ll be sharing simple service projects for kids that you can do with your children. Our goal? Fun, easy activities that remind your kids how important it is to help those in need!
Community Service Ideas: Acts of Love to Complete as a Family
To celebrate Valentine’s Day…….we are sharing 14 Acts of Love to be completed for the first 14 days of February. And the best part? We have an adorable printable coloring page to keep track!

So now, we’re passing this project on to YOU. Molly and I will be participating each day and you can follow along on our Instagram stories to see the fun! If you participate in one day, or all fourteen…..we’d love to see it! Be sure tag us on social media, or use the hashtag #letitshine so that we can celebrate your family participating in our community service ideas!
Now, one more thing. Molly and I are teaming up to do more than host our link up. We are teaming up to share brands that we love……brands that give back. Each week we’ll be collaborating with one of our favorite brands to share the cause they support, and their amazing products.
This week, we are working together to ENCOURAGE you guys to give back in your own communities with your children. Our colorable Acts of Love calendar is meant to get your WHOLE family involved in serving local families. We hope that this inspires you to serve together!
Now, on to you guys…..our favorites last week?
