It’s summertime, and I’m swooning over delicious fruity cocktails. So, when Stillhouse Moonshine offered to send over a bottle of their Coconut Moonshine…….I jumped at the opportunity to create a fun drink. This Coconut Sunrise Moonshine Recipes Cocktail is a perfect combination of coconut, orange, and the classic moonshine you love!
I’ve been experimenting with different flavors……and have been in love with coconut lately (doesn’t it seem like the perfect summer flavor?). What is moonshine (besides awesome?)……it’s a fancy word for a distilled spirit…..and Stillhouse’s is pretty delish. This corn-based liquor is pure, smooth and makes AMAZING cocktails.

If you aren’t familiar with a sunrise cocktail, it is typically a combination of orange juice and another fruit flavored liquor. Using this with grenadine to create what is now one of my favorite moonshine recipes was an easy idea!

I loved serving up this Coconut Sunrise Moonshine Recipes Cocktail in a simple mason jar with a colorful paper straw. It definitely made the drink color pop! Any nice large glass would work for this drink, but there is something about a mason jar that goes perfectly with moonshine. Don’t you think?
For extra flavor, you can even toast some of the coconut shreds to add to the top of your drink! I prefer mine without toasting, but the possibilities are endless. With more and more fruit inspired moonshine recipes out there these days, I am sure I’ll be sharing more cocktails like this in the future!
