These are this year's best fall dress options for a pear shaped body!   It's Fall Y'all.  I know, I couldn't help it.  I ready to sip a pumpkin spice latte, watch the leaves change, put on my fall boots……it's basic and I admit it, but I love this time of year.  Growing up in a cooler climate (in Northern California), fall was always my favorite time of year.  I love the chill in the air, the crisp mornings and fall evenings, the colors…..and I love Fall Fashion.  Layers, rich colors, great jackets, the best jeans, leather leggings…..it's the best.  It may be endless summer here in San Diego, but we do cool down a LITTLE bit, and I'm taking the opportunity to work some new casual fall dresses into my wardrobe.

Women's Puff Short Sleeve T-Shirt Dress – Universal Thread (Size Medium): Who doesn't love a great t shirt dress? And these sleeves? Swoon.  This dress comes in a TON of colors and a great size range (up to a 4x).  I was on the fence about what size to order.  It runs true to size (I usually wear a size 10-12) and the medium was perfect.  I think it will be super cute to layer with a puffer vest and boots later in the season and for now? Sneakers it is.  I bought this LAST fall, wore it a ton and was really happy to see they brought it back!

Madewell's Lucie Smocked Gingham Dress: This adorable gingham dress was a new purchase this year (along with the cutest polka dot fall dress from Madewell).  These are definitely investment pieces, but I love love love the fit of both and can see wearing them well into the winter.  I've been wearing both with sandals during the warmer transitional months, and can't wear to wear them with boots and a jacket once the weather cools off. I wear a medium in both of these (usually do in Madewell dresses).
