I feel like this summer flew by, and we went from talking about bikinis to the perfect Back to School Outfit in the blink of an eye! In fact, I'm a little in shock that we already had to start Back to School shopping. This year, my goal was to find pieces for both of us (since I was shopping for my Teacher Back to School Wardrobe) that we could wear into the warmer spring months. I was searching for durable, on trend items that weren't going to break the bank. And honestly? I was pretty much set on the fact that I'd need to spend an arm and a leg on jeans. Well, I can admit it. I was TOTALLY wrong. During a recent trip to the mall, I had every intention of popping into JcPenney to pick up Converse Sneakers for Lydia. I knew that they were on sale there, and I figured why not snag a pair (aren't the metallic high tops adorable?). Well, I had to walk through the apparel sections to GET to the shoes. And I sure am glad I did. These dark denim jeans and olive jackets? We'll both be wearing them ALL fall and winter. And mine? They're a cut I'd heard raving reviews on (Levi's 529 curvy skinny jeans) and I hadn't seen them in store ANYWHERE. Well, they were under $50 and fit like a dream (seriously, if you're a pear shaped lady…..order them IMMEDIATELY). And the classic dark denim? Will go with all the OTHER trendy fall pieces we picked up for less than a pair of designer jeans. We snagged jackets, sweaters, denim, and some pretty adorable shoes. All high quality, and all a great price. And the best part? I'm ALMOST DONE Back to School shopping!
