So I’ll be 38 years old in a couple weeks. Yup, I’m closer to 40 than I am to 30. Now is the time you can tell me I don’t look that old (ha)! In all seriousness, I get mistaken for being about ten years younger than I am on a regular basis (despite tired mom face). One of the reasons why? I’m OBSESSED with finding anti-aging skincare that really works. I’ve tried a TON of products from super affordable to super expensive……and have done my best to take great care of my skin. So today, I’m spilling my guts. I’ll giving y’all my anti-aging skincare tips, tricks and the products I love.
Anti-Aging Skincare That Really Works
Hydrate: dry skin? Looks older. Hydrate internally. What does that mean? DRINK A LOT OF WATER.
Protect: The sun DRIES OUT your skin, and then it looks older. Wear sunscreen. Every single day. The sunscreen in your makeup isn’t enough. Add a separate facial sunscreen to your daily skincare regimen.
Good Fats: Eat food that is rich in good fat (avocado, olive oil). This ACTUALLY helps your skin retain moisture and look younger.
Cleanse: Clean your face. Makeup (even natural makeup) needs to be removed. Use a great face wipe at the start of your evening skincare routine to remove all your makeup.
Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream: When it comes to great anti-aging skincare products……I’ve tried them all. And honestly? Some of them are great, but WAY too expensive. Recently I read about an independent test by the Good Housekeeping Institute . This study found that Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream outperforms a ton of fancy, expensive anti-aging creams, including one with a $440 price tag. That peaked my interest. So, I tried it for myself. What did I think? I’m SOLD. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream IS anti-aging, but it’s also SUPER hydrating. My VERY dry skin was much healthier and better nourished after a few days of use ( in fact, studies showed that Olay increased moisture by 50% on average over a 24-hour period.) That hydrating power? Gives instant results (less noticeable wrinkles) and long term results (firmer skin in about 2 weeks). And it’s under $30! I’ve been applying it both morning and evening to clean skin. And I’m not stopping anytime soon! Because the healthier my skin? The less time and money I spend on makeup.
So my question for y’all. What are your anti-aging skincare tips? Do you have any advice for anti-aging skincare that really works?
