Happy almost Fourth of July! Hopefully, as you read this…..you're basking in the extra weekend day, preparing for parades and fireworks, and spending at least a few minutes in thanks for the freedoms we live with each and everyday.
Our big Fourth of July plans? Sleeping in (let's hope Lydia gets the memo), a local parade in the morning, and then a block party with one of Lydia's favorite kids. Each year, their family closes off the street and fills it with water slides and a GIANT bbq. Lydia can't WAIT!
We'll be wearing some of our favorite red, white and blue gear…..and we have a ton of fun options this year!
If you followed my adventures on Snapchat, then you know that I had the chance to go on an adventure with Stitch Fix last week. In fact, my July Stitch Fix Review will be coming in pieces…..because I have so much to share. Why? Because in addition to getting a regular Stitch Fix delivery from my stylist on my doorstep…..I ALSO got a second Stitch Fix delivery this month in person with their styling team. Yes, I got to see what the styling team does for every box live and in person here in LA (before a few of us Stitch Fixers appeared on TV with them to share summer trends).
I'm not gonna lie, when I saw this Paradigma Camillia Aline Eyelet Skirt mentioned in an email before I met with the styling team…..I rolled my eyes. A WHITE SKIRT? Hello, I'm totally pear shaped. Were they serious? Well, it fits like a dream. And the Naomi Gathered Neckline Silk Blouse by The Korner? I tend to avoid bare tops like this. I guess this why sometimes you need to trust the pros…..because I love it!
Now, let's talk about Lydia's outfit. This is her second outfit from The Patchery. And I'm totally addicted (you can see her first outfit here). What is the Patchery? An amazing online shop that allows you (or your little ones) to design one of a kind clothing pieces. In five simple steps, you are able to create pieces for your kiddo to wear that fit your lifestyle and taste….plus it's FUN! You get to choose a style, fabrics, and combos…..then the Patchery team individually cuts and sews each piece. From design to doorstep? It only takes 3-4 weeks…..pretty cool right? Just in case you're not already in love, The Patchery is a family owned business and the real bosses? Are two-year old Leo and five-year old June. Their parents Amber and Ryan started the company after Amber realized that not all parents were able to sew their children stunning and creative pieces like she was (um, I know I can't). And for those of you who don't want to break the bank…..I'm happy to say their pieces are surprisingly affordable!
As a happy Fourth of July from us to you……I'm teaming up with The Patchery to give one of YOU a $75 gift card. Be sure to enter away!
Welcome to Let it Shine…..believe it or not……this is our FOUR YEAR anniversary month! Yup, this little link up has been around for four years…..and to celebrate we've got a month worth of fun coming your way. Each week this month we are teaming up with one of our favorite brands to do a special giveaway for y'all! Yes, that's FOUR big giveaways!
This week, we are reminding you to enter our SUMMER ACCESSORY Giveaway from last week…..and Molly and I will be back next week to continue the Anniversary party!
