A question we get asked A LOT…..plus why every mom should own a Lula Roe classic tee…..it's the perfect day to night piece!
I just finished doing a reader survey. And at the end, I left a place for people to ask questions. The one that I got the most? Yup, the same as the one we get most in real life. “Are you guys planning to have more children?”
So here it is…..the answer to that question. We don't know yet. Lydia is amazing, and we lucked out. She's a very mellow toddler for the most part. It's not her, it's us. In perfect world, we'd have like 8 kids. I love kids, I'm a teacher!
However, we live in one of the most expensive cities in the world and we both work full time. Plus, my husband is starting graduate school next year. I can't imagine adding a baby to the mix with all that. I feel like it would be unfair to them.
So, will you have a baby AFTER he's done? That's the inevitable question. And here's the answer. We still aren't sure. I'm 36 years old (feel free to tell me I look good for my age now). I'll be 38 when Robbie finishes. Is that too old? Obviously that answer is different for everyone. If you've had a baby at that age….PLEASE email me or comment with your experience….I'm all ears! So, my questions and thoughts on this for y'all:
Only Children: Do you have one? Are you one? We both grew up with siblings. I know that plenty of people say it's rough on children to NOT have a sibling as their parents get older. That it's important for them to have a peer. Thoughts? Experiences?
Finances: The reality is, we live in an extremely expensive location. Is it better to have one child, but to have more money for them to participate in after school activities? Or two, but to know that money will be tight?
So my final answer? I don't know. Life is funny that way. Every once in awhile even Type A people like us, just have to wait and see what happens. Now……..in the spirit of mommyhood……I took a little time for myself last week after work. Cause moms of one or moms of five need a break every now and again. This casual outfit? Super easy to take from work to fun wear. The tee I'm wearing is by Lula Roe, and it's VERY versatile. I wear it for night wear with a pencil skirt or day with shorts or jeans.
I'm teaming up with my favorite mom of two kids, Sandy today…..and she's showing you another wear to wear a Lula Roe tee (and she by the way, says we HAVE to have another baby).
Love Lula Roe as much as I do? Check out the other pieces I've styled:
