I'm a brunch nut. Before Lydia was born, I loved nothing more than a lazy weekend morning with mimosas and pancakes. Now that she's a little older, we're bringing brunches back (just with the addition of toddlers running around). One of my favorite cocktails to serve? A delicious twist on a classic mimosa…..an orange blossom and honey mimosa! It's super easy to make and looks stunning……gotta love impressing your guests with a fancy brunch cocktail, right?
Honey Orange Mimosa Recipe
1 bottle of champagne
1 carton of orange juice
1 jar of Don Victor Orange Blossom Honey
Pour orange juice and 3 tablespoons of honey into a pitcher, allow to sit at room temperature for 45 minutes. Stir every 5 – 10 minutes. (Don Victor should be stored at room temperature)
When serving, fill champagne flute halfway with chilled champagne, then top off glass with the juice.
Garnish with Don Victor honeycomb. (This is my FAVORITE part of this drink….did you know that Don Victor's honey jars contain real honeycomb? It's edible, looks amazing, and becomes soft and aromatic when at room temperature….seriously, it MAKES this drink!)
