STITCH FIX REVIEW January 2017: WHAT I LOVED, WHAT I’M KEEPING, AND WHAT YOU SHOULD REQUEST (PLUS A GIVEAWAY)!
Happy New Year! Anyone else a little in shock that it’s already 2017? We spent yesterday flying back to Los Angeles from South Carolina……not exactly the way I spent the New Year’s Eves of my twenties. Luckily, Lydia was awesome on the airplane and we made it home without any major hiccups. I’m a little embarrassed to say we all fell asleep by 10:30 pm and missed any ball drops or confetti bombs.
Now that the holidays are over, style wise…..I’m craving simple separates that I can wear for the end of winter and early spring. When I put in my January Stitch Fix requests, I asked for pieces that would layer easily.
In case you aren’t already a Stitch Fix nut…….a bit about the service: Stitch Fix is a personalized styling service that sends five pieces to your doorstep. The great thing? When you join, you fill out an extensive styling profile. You can request certain items or even ask for options for a specific event. You choose how often you get a fix (for me it’s once a month). In the comfort of your own home, you try on all items. Then you keep what you love, and send back the rest…..and all with free shipping! There is a $20 styling fee, but you can use that $20 as a credit towards any of the items you keep. And YES, you can set a price range you feel comfortable with.
So, what did I get in my January fix?
STITCH FIX REVIEW January 2017
RD Style Rowca Scoop Neck Pull Over Sweater (size medium, $68, kept): I love this classic sweater. The simple cream color is super versatile, and it’s the PERFECT length. I’ve already worn it way too many times!
Lila Ryan Liza Colored Skinny Jean (size 10, $98, kept): I’m all about colored denim, and these skinny jeans? Fit like a DREAM. I’d happily take them in a million more colors.
Market & Spruce Careen V-Neck Dolman Knit Top (size medium, $48, kept): If you’ve been here awhile, you know I’m a sucker for a great striped tee. And this one? Just long enough to be flattering. I love it!
Jill Michael Maia Pre-layered Metal Fringe Necklace ($34, returned): I wanted to love this necklace. But when it arrived it was REALLY tangled. And it was hard to wear without more tangling.
Alice Blue Velos Henley Blouse (size medium, $54, returned): While I loved the print on this blouse, the fabric wasn’t my favorite. It hit at a weird spot on my hips, and I didn’t think it was all that flattering.

Now, one more thing. Molly and I are teaming up to do more than host our link up. We are teaming up to share brands that we love……brands that give back. Each week we’ll be collaborating with one of our favorite brands to share the cause they support, and their amazing products.
This week we are teaming up to tell y’all about Stitch Fix. Stitch Fix is an amazing company that we have both worked closely with. This fabulous personalized styling service allows customers to customize their requests to include ethical fashion brands, brands made in the USA, and more. They also make both time and in-kind product donations to several non profit partners including Dress for Success and local women’s shelters.
