Cheeky Kids has an adorable collection of kid friendly tablewear, and gives meals to feed empty tummies nationwide.
This weekend, we had the chance to celebrate one of our favorite brands. Cheeky Kids is an brand that we love because it gives families a chance to give back using supplies that we utilize each and every day.
Cheeky Kids recently launched their line of adorable disposable table wear. These plates, napkins, and cups come in adorable prints and support children in need through No Kid Hungry. For each pack sold at Target, a meal is donated to children struggling with hunger on a daily basis.
Life is funny sometimes, Thursday morning I was gearing up to attend the launch event for this adorable brand. I went about my regular day at work, and ended up sitting with a student during lunch time. He informed me that their family didn’t have food for the weekend. That he was worried about the extra day off of school, because it was one more day without lunch or breakfast. Child Hunger in the United States is very real…..and I see it on a regular basis.
Why did I feel that this fun party was so important to share? Because we can all help. By choosing products that give back, and support important organizations……we can show our children that these small adjustments can make a world of difference.
Fun Beyond Mealtime Suggestion: A few of us got to use Cheeky Kids pieces to create activity tables for the kids……mine? A Play Dough station. We made homemade play dough, used plates as work spaces and cups to store the dough and tools!
Now, one more thing. Molly and I are teaming up to do more than host our link up. We are teaming up to share brands that we love……brands that give back. Each week we’ll be collaborating with one of our favorite brands to share the cause they support, and their amazing products.
This week we are teaming up with Cheeky Kids. Cheeky Kids’ adorable line allows families to involve their children in giving back. Very simply, you buy a pack of plates or napkins and Cheeky Kids gives a meal to a child in need via No Kid Hungry.
This week, we are loving:
