Your Family Story: Share the story of YOUR american dream with your children. How did you family immigrate? Fourth of July Parade Wear and Decor: Are you going to a parade this year for the fourth? If not, set up a neighborhood parade with all the kiddos. Dress in your best patriotic attire and be sure to decorate those bikes and scooters! Thank You Cards: It's important to spend time thanking those who defend our freedoms and allow us to celebrate the Fourth of July. Call your local military base, ask if you can send thank you cards to those serving. If it's driving distance, make cookies to drop off to the families of those serving far away (be sure to ask for permission from the base)!Plan a Fourth of July celebration: Let your kiddos help with the menu and invite list, and don't forget some great cocktails for the adults!
